For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page.

I am however inclined to leniency, in view of the fact that I just had beans on toast with cheese on top, and in light of MrFranny's indiscretion about cheesy chips the other week

FrannyandZomble · 08/10/2007 12:48

But TooT won't be happy, she will probably start slagging off Mozza again

FrannyandZomble · 08/10/2007 12:55

LOL have just noticed I have been FrannyandZOMBLE all morning

Lully give me a shout when you are around

Boco · 08/10/2007 12:55

What's Mozza? Isn't that the water skiing psychiatrist?

I canceled. Felt a bit bad, but cheese won.

FrannyandZomble · 08/10/2007 12:57

Could you not have taken some cheese to the bender in your pocket? And eaten it up your sleeve or something?

FrannyandZomble · 08/10/2007 12:57

which is, unbelievably, what my mother does with ham when she comes to my (vegetarian) household

lionheart · 08/10/2007 12:59

She hides it up her sleeve?

FrannyandZomble · 08/10/2007 13:00

She has smuggled it in in her handbag, and tried to eat some under the table when i wasn't looking

I know most people on here think I am slightly odd but really, it's a miracle I am even partly sane

Lullabyloo · 08/10/2007 13:01

I'm here

am dressed......tick
ds is dressed...tick

goats cheese/roasted veg pizza in oven....ds ate most of the little cheese before i could crumble it though.....tick

TooTicky · 08/10/2007 13:01

Yeah, but nobody is scared of me.

Your mother eats ham up her sleeve? How horrid. I am control freaky about greasy fingers.

Zomble sounds nicer than zombie.

FrannyandZomble · 08/10/2007 13:01

Lully - hover for a bit

lionheart · 08/10/2007 13:01

Lullabyloo · 08/10/2007 13:02

TooTicky · 08/10/2007 13:06
Lullabyloo · 08/10/2007 13:06

ds says ...oh please mama ..dont burn the pizza like you burnt my apple compote this morning....
he is looking sternly at me

Boco · 08/10/2007 13:06

Cheese up your sleeve isn't as nice as melted cheese on toast though.

Lully, if you ever have some time, please please would you explain your lunches, write them down step by step with clear instructions and ingredients - please. How do you do it?

lionheart · 08/10/2007 13:07

It's lovely.

There is also a snake.

FrannyandZomble · 08/10/2007 13:07

Lionheart yes we don't have meat in the house, as a rule

it may sound controlly, but it is my house and I don't have a problem with people eating it elsewhere (well it is not my business)

she is flipping MAD, it was ONE MEAL

FrannyandZomble · 08/10/2007 13:08

Oh TooT did you not see the other ones, before?

there is a snake in the woods??

Lullabyloo · 08/10/2007 13:08

franny......oh lordy you are beautiful
i see where ds gets his elfin looks from

Boco...lol....

Boco · 08/10/2007 13:09

No that is mad. Ham smuggling is definitely very odd. It implies a desperation for ham that I've not come across.
