For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

Those pics are gorgeous.

FrannyandZombie · 02/10/2007 09:12

Lovely pics Boco!

must rush, we are so late and disorganised and ds says he wants to be early at nursery so he can make a huge train track

(oh god please please let them let him do it and not say "no sorry new rule no train tracks on Tuesdays")

love you all
xx

TooTicky · 02/10/2007 12:10

at the minor bird!

I have eaten a tomato and a mushroom.

I am making a board game. We are going to a party tomorrow where homemade presents will be not only acceptable but preferable Wish me luck with the salt dough caterpillars...

TooTicky · 02/10/2007 12:14

Oh, lovely photos Boco! But what was dd1 going to do to dd2 with that leaf?

Boco · 02/10/2007 12:26

I think a couple of pictures before that one she's got the leaf sticking out of her hair. That night when i washed their hair the bath was full of grass and bits of leaf. I like the one of the lane and dd2 with her arms outstretched - she was trying to encourage dd1 who is trying very hard to ride her bike without stabilisers.

FrannyandZombie · 02/10/2007 13:11

Boco · 02/10/2007 13:16

Franny i saw pictures of your ds with snakes round his neck!

I'd like a badge please, for the thread title and starting the thread and remembering the link. A golden badge please. With a star on it. Or, ...a golden marrow.

OP posts:
IdrisTheDragon · 02/10/2007 13:18

I also saw your DS Franny.
In a photo obviously as I wasn't at the party.

FrannyandZombie · 02/10/2007 13:29

LOL I have some good photos of him too

he loved it so much

Boco when you read your post on "threads I'm on" (with no paragraphing,it says "Franny i saw pictures of your ds with snakes round his neck! I'd like a badge please"

You can have a golden aubergine for the links. I held a film festival in my house once and we handed out golden aubergines to the winners.

aCarrot · 02/10/2007 15:31

well, Boco remembered the link, but I nearly died you know. Do I get anything? Hmmm? A title maybe...

Boco · 02/10/2007 16:06

You should have a title Carrot. 'Lady Hot Tits'? Is that the kind of thing?

OP posts:
aCarrot · 02/10/2007 16:08

er, no, Boco, I was thinking more like Lady Carrot actually

ahundredtimes · 02/10/2007 16:08

Hello. How is everyone? MrsC are you still sulky? You're becoming quite frightening.

I whizzed up the thread, and then I saw Franny's warning and came straight here. I have missed lots of stuff.

Boco · 02/10/2007 16:13

Well, umm, Bee has started her course and she was scared but it was fine. Franny has been busy. There are some pictures of my dds on an apple walk on sunday further down. Carrot is huffy again - i'm still a little scared after she yelled at me [grudge] The others have been eating vegetables.

OP posts:
ahundredtimes · 02/10/2007 16:16

Excellent.

Shall we tickle MrsC and see what happens?

Boco · 02/10/2007 16:17

You can. I'm not getting a round house kick from a carrot.

OP posts:
lionheart · 02/10/2007 16:19

How come MrsC is huffy?

FrannyandZombie · 02/10/2007 16:26

look I have made you a fricking POSTER

oh everyone will want one now

Boco · 02/10/2007 16:33

Excuse me but i had quite a sore wrist and i still came up with a very good thread title...and i didnt' get huffy.

OP posts:
FrannyandZombie · 02/10/2007 16:58

will you forgive me and come and finish trouncing me at Scrabble now?

(or am I just too slow, I do understand if so)

aCarrot · 02/10/2007 17:08

How did you know I could kickbox, Boco? Well, I probably can't now, haven't done it for so long. God I'm unfit.

I was jokingly huffy, this came across, no? Oh dear. Maybe it's my tits.

We have a pet, 100x, did you skim past that bit?

ahappyCarrot · 02/10/2007 17:25

Franny - you made a poster for me! I thought there were two for Boco. I like my poster, how clever of you to find a photo, did you ask dh?
