For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

Franny - I can't keep this name, I really can't. I am safe in here but outside the window there would be pompous objectors.

MrsCuntingMango · 09/09/2007 23:23

oh oh, I've done it, posted somewhere else

ahundredtimes · 09/09/2007 23:23

I just posted you a reply MrsC. Where did it go?

MrsCuntingMango · 09/09/2007 23:24

Actually - I don't know why I'm posting all this faux nervousness, I am laughing my head off.

ahundredtimes · 09/09/2007 23:25

I have just posted on the fluffy thread saying I heart Franny because she is energetic. This has amused me enormously.

I must go to bed now. Especially as my posts are disappearing into thin air.

Can you take the flak on your own Cunting? Or do you need me to stay and hold your hand?

MrsCuntingMango · 09/09/2007 23:25

Well, I can't look for it, 100x, as my head has just fallen off.

MrsCuntingMango · 09/09/2007 23:26

Oh, gourd night, 100x. I think I will be ok.

ahundredtimes · 09/09/2007 23:27

Gourd night.

FrannyandZooey · 10/09/2007 08:30

Gourd morning

I can't wait to come to the meetup and see MrsC with MrsCuntingMango emblazoned across her chest in glittery pink writing

Hello .

What exactly are gourds? I seem to remember having to sketch one in an art lesson when I was 14. It was a very bad drawing. And may not have been a gourd anyway.

Fruit is being eaten. A danish pastry has obviously not been eaten .

lionheart · 10/09/2007 09:46

Good morning.

I heart, heart, heart Joni, although, admittedly, not that particular song.

Have had an apple (well, it's a start).

And also, Gil was far too drippy for spunky Anne IMHO.

Oi it is Monday, come here

Avi

nursery and the imperfections thereof, versus having ds at home all day with me, or having ds at work all day with me, is a bit of a bug bear for me at the moment as well

are you going to see how it goes?
