Steve not very well at all today, Doctor has just been out to him

he was in a lot of pain yesterday which has not improved today. he is much more confused so it is difficult to find out what is going on. his sight is much worse too and he is quite wobbly.
The doctor phoned the hospital and talked to them about it. the doc has given him a morphine injection and he is to go back on the steriods, which he has just been weaned off. the doctor will phone in the morning to see how he is. he is tucked up in bed now.

i never sleep very well these days i just can't turn off my mind enough to get off to sleep.

Just checking in on you, OJ. Glad Steve had a better night - wish you did too. Any news yet on when his treatment starts? It's all waiting, isn't it?

after last tuesdays vist for scan plan we were told they would contact us 7-10 days for steve to go into the scan simulator, they said treatment would start soon after. dunno if they mean their soon or our soon, the two sound the same but all our evidence shows they are very different

hoping we have a good night tonight, steve has had a difficult day, he is once again saying he won't do the treatment he has said this before and changed his mind so i won't get upset about it.

oh dear oj, all part of the rolercoaster i suppose Like you say he feels differently each day.

Lilyloo the way he feels can change by the hour. it is a rollercoaster but one we have to ride.
one positive thing is that it has made the people who know us appreciate what they have with their partner.
Theheadgirl, hope you are ok, i have lost your email address when my pc broke.
we are lucky really we have three lovely kids who keeps us going! who are your three? hope you had a nice holiday.

Hope today is a better day for you both and like you say in times of great difficulty you do actually take stock of what's good in your life and what you should be thankful for. Unfortunately we are all guilty of taking things for granted.

steve is much better today, so much so that we are going out for lunch.

We had a lovely lunch at local pub, steve is now asllep and i am having a coffee and chilling before the kids come home.

OJ feet up please and here's a poncey cup of hand ground coffee for you. Glad you had a nice time.
