For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

LL, if you meant concentrated apple juice, you can get it in supermarkets - either in the baby section, with bottles of juice, or maybe with cordials?

I've done online shopping and had it delivered to a different address - as long as you pay for it they don't care where it goes to - but Ocado don't deliver all over the UK - they don't deliver here, for instance

Can we have a show of hands for the title please? Anne of Green Gages? Invisible Mango? Or something else?

invisible mango for me please - nice and surreal - I promise we won't poke it. I bet we wouldn't get away with 'cunting invisible mango' would we?

(sits on hands supressing the urge to encourage fz to spill)

C'mon, Franny, let us at 'em.

BBB you forgot the river of piss, I certainly haven't.

They don't deliver here either. So annoying.

I am watching "Dumped"

I haven't been able to think of any witty f&v phrase yet so either title is good by me.

oh, please can we have cunting invisible mango, please please please please with an undyed cherry on the top?

I can't put cunting in a thread title

Who do you think I am, Greeny?

no seriously ladies, I know it would be funny to us, but this is a thread title that is going to be bumped approx 1000 times in the next week. If we put cunting in the title there will be a lynch mob after us

I like the invisible mango one and think that cunting would give people something to talk about

Report
pinkspottywellies · 02/09/2007 21:14

I know who it was Franny but did they start a whole thread to be horrible to you or was it just on a thread about something else? But sorry if you don't want to talk about it - just ignore me!

Report
FrayedKnot · 02/09/2007 21:15

What about if we used a word that sounded suspiciously similar to cunting but wasn;t??

crunting
curnting
gunting

OK probably not

LL I've just caught up with your latest news. It must be a very stressful time. As the others have said if I can do anything to help just ask. Have you spoken to any of your rl friends? Is your dh giving you the support you need?

Report
pinkspottywellies · 02/09/2007 21:18

Yes! Curnting is a great word!

Report
MrsCarrot · 02/09/2007 21:24

Hmm, I suppose I've had something to say about offensive thread titles in the past, but, oh I don't know, someone just choose!

Report
FrannyandZooey · 02/09/2007 21:43

We can have the mango without the cunting

PSW there was a thread started about me, which was deleted

I am sorry, I don't mean to be all mysterious, but I didn't mean to start talking about it. It is all sorted now, anyway.

Moving on....

It can be a silent cunting, which only we can hear

I'll leave a space between the word Invisible and the word Mango, into which we can mentally insert the word Cunting

How about 'In Gourd we Trust'. Is that how you spell gourd?

I had a very good weekend, i'm tired, i have blisters, walked and walked and walked. Did very well with the 10/10 surprisingly - there was a breakfast buffet and i had mountains of fruit salad. We were upgraded to executive suite for some reason, which was good. Saw friends, went to galleries, ate, shopped, slept, all good good things. Missed dds which was nice too. Home now, and it's like it was all a blurry dream.

Hello everyone

BBB do you really think I am a calming influence? (I don't think dp would agree...)

Yes FMV you are the Queen of Thread Titles. I like Go Man Go. But I do like Anne of Greengages [indecisive]

Avi I have been thinking about your worries. Ds is obsessed with diggers and trains, and while I don't think we have in any way done anything to create this obsession, as MrsC says, you can't help but perpetuate it. Because ds likes trains we buy him trains to play with, and so on. It is very frustrating though if your dh isn't taking your worries seriously. I have experienced this with dp; I may feel strongly about ds not doing/having a particular thing, whereas dp tends not to mind about most things and therefore doesn't quite 'get' it. We have resolved some issues but I have really had to explain in depth why I am worried about such things and why certain things are important to me.

Taken out of context, that last post was filthy, Franny. People will talk.

Have had a better day (LL that recipe looks delicious) with usual load of Sunday veg plus strawberries, raspberries, cuc, apple, grapes.
