For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

ahundredtimes · 30/08/2007 22:23

Franny is sad tonight, so we need to take votes on the next title and make a decision.

I am voting for MrsC's because she has had a challenging time this week with an ugly name.

Boco · 30/08/2007 22:24

Lets have one in honour of our sensible friend. 'Anne of Green-Gages'.

zippitippitoes · 30/08/2007 22:25

who is this anne

Boco · 30/08/2007 22:26

whispers

Tatties · 30/08/2007 22:26

Ooh Boco that is good too!

Franny have a good sleep you'll feel better in the morning I hope xx

ahundredtimes · 30/08/2007 22:26

I love ya Boco.

Zippi - Boco thinks my RL name is Anne. It is a very sensible name, you see.

zippitippitoes · 30/08/2007 22:27

franny hope you feel better

Guadalupe · 30/08/2007 22:37

Anne of Green-Gages is quite good I suppose, we could have a very wholesome week in Avonlea.

ahundredtimes · 30/08/2007 22:39

I would plait my hair and wear gingham all week, out of the sheer excitement of it all.

NotReallyHerePossum · 30/08/2007 22:41

what happens when a thread reaches a thousand posts? Do we all explode? [worried emoticon]

IdrisTheDragon · 30/08/2007 22:42

I can't plait my hair. Nowhere near enough hair.

IdrisTheDragon · 30/08/2007 22:43

When a thread gets to 1000 posts then you can't post on it anymore. They usually get a little longer than that.

zippitippitoes · 30/08/2007 22:44

is there a lot of soup making and climbing down trees

NotReallyHerePossum · 30/08/2007 22:45

and we all oggle Gilbert

Guadalupe · 30/08/2007 22:46

Have a very odd image of a clockwork 100x in her kitchen with plaits and empty cups of coffee, moving between surfaces slightly too quickly with her head on one side

Tatties · 30/08/2007 22:51

at Gilbert Blythe

IdrisTheDragon · 30/08/2007 22:59

Gilbert is lovely isn't he?

Guadalupe · 30/08/2007 23:00

Yes, Dr Gilbert, and to think he called her Carrots!

TooTicky · 30/08/2007 23:04

Apparently L.M.Montgomery grew to dislike Anne.

ahundredtimes · 30/08/2007 23:06

Did she? Why?

ahundredtimes · 30/08/2007 23:06

Actually, I take that back. I know why.

TooTicky · 30/08/2007 23:07

I am still suffering from my ale. Or perhaps it was the accidental bite I took of a flapjack with butter in. It was awful - I had to chew and swallow and it seemed to take forever.
100x - am vegan btw except for good honey. Or perhaps it was just that I was out all day and couldn't poo.

Guadalupe · 30/08/2007 23:08

why couldn't you go to the loo while out, Toot? Better out than in
