FAB TITLE BY FMF (AND BBB)

For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

Nope. They're on a shelf. They are in Order.

She said it.

BBBee · 16/08/2007 22:50

sorry about your mouth ulcers - I sulk like bugger with just one! Fruit and vegetables are not easy when you are like that - too textured and acidy.

Yes I am off to Edinburgh. This lots of short breaks away was a good idea at the time!

So what do I take as a present for the people in Edinburgh who are kindly putting me up. they have loads of money and all the things they want so I am going to have to make or cook something and it will have to look good. Help me please.

BBBee · 16/08/2007 22:51

they were on a shelf and it was an order I am sure. the Hugh Fernally Whittingstal ones were next to each other. There were no piles adn there was nice stuff in the bathroom - rather than the empty loo rolls holders and dead plants that I decorate mine with.

Boco · 16/08/2007 22:52

Umm, i know, you should make a print of your hand or foot for them. They'd LOVE that. Trust me. Do it in clay. If you don't have any clay, you could make some salt dough and colour it with food colouring. Do it tonight.

BBBee · 16/08/2007 22:54

oh you made me do that laughing that goes all spluttery and turns into choking a bit!

FrannyandZooey · 16/08/2007 22:54

Dolly you poor beggar Mouth ulcers are so grim, I have great sympathy

BBB welcome welcome. Your other thread is v funny indeed. I am now even MORE glad I didn't enter that competition. The right people definitely won it; you are made of sterner stuff than me.

The story place (Discover) was cool - we have been before - but tbh we were too tired for it this time, and you kind of need to be up for playing with them in the place. I was so frigging knackered I sat in the book corner and fell asleep for a bit, and I know Mr Greeny dozed off too.

Tatties > I think you are performing the exercise part of the thread for all of us here, so make it good. I am out too ruddy many times this week to get to the gym, and my vegetables are struggling. I ate well in London though, Greeny will vouch for me. There was only one night that I went a little crazy with the chocolate brownies.

Lionheart's rotational idea is the best

Boco wants you to move on and right OUT of her bathroom. LOL.

Yes, whatever you make BB you need to make it tonight. It will be INSPIRED.

FrannyandZooey · 16/08/2007 22:56

Write them a poem about your deep feelings of friendship and appreciation for them

Oh I have been out for dinner. There was a few aubergines in it.

ahundredtimes · 16/08/2007 22:56

Are you still with us BB? I think she might have exploded Franny. DO SOMETHING you're in charge here.

FrannyandZooey · 16/08/2007 22:58

She only spluttered a bit

there

Boco · 16/08/2007 22:58

In the spirit of the festival you should prepare them an hours stand up on the theme of friendship and hospitality, culminating in the unveiling of the salt dough footprint.

I'm welling up just thinking about it.

BBBee · 16/08/2007 22:58

oh F&Z - I held back on my graphical stuff because I know if you are here it won't seem so weird. Well on my euro trip I had my period and I was not sure about the mooncup but then we had just talked on here and I was all 'oh do it in public blah blah' so I braved it - all round the theme park and the airports and everywhere - often with DD in tow ('look up there darling - is that a spider'- whip tip) then had to kind of hold my hand in a weird way and wash it. also joined the mooncup mile high club as one of the few places I could leave dc's and be able to wash my hands!

BBBee · 16/08/2007 23:00

oh I know I could do thqt bubble show thing for them.

BBBee · 16/08/2007 23:01

oh and if you normally eat loads of fruit and vegetables and them you spend a day eating nothing and sweating loads and drinking too much coffee and flying and running round a theme park your body doesn't like it.

Then you go to a petrol station and buy and eat a bag of apples and your body likes you again.

ahundredtimes · 16/08/2007 23:02
BBBee · 16/08/2007 23:06

ah you see I knew I couldn't do the mooncup thing without F&Z.

ahundredtimes · 16/08/2007 23:08

Oh no don't mind me BB they ALL love it here. Is just me.

Okay, your present. Erm. A cake?

FrannyandZooey · 16/08/2007 23:09

Ooh BBB you did do well, Avi said she was up to her elbows in blood

I must admit for all the times I have sat here and told people it is absolutely fine to empty it in a public toilet, I did have a few dicey moments in London this week. I think the trick is to NOT try to clean it / wipe it or anything unless you have a sink right there.

OP posts:
Boco · 16/08/2007 23:11

You did very well BBBee - i've only managed in a public toilet once - in a service station with both dds in the same cubicle and a horrified running commentary from dd2.

I don't think i can tell you what she said, 100x will faint clean away. She's such an interesting delicate/ robust combo. I like it.

FrannyandZooey · 16/08/2007 23:11

LOL tell us

I will catch 100 and Heimlich her

OP posts:
BBBee · 16/08/2007 23:12

I agree - you need to out and in don't you. Also the whole washing your hands bit before going to the toilet confused people in teh queue.

Cake is good but have a feeling he might have just been diagnosed as diabetic. I need NQC now don't I.

BBBee · 16/08/2007 23:13

well boco dd christened it a 'red wee' ad then told ds in great length about mummy and her special thing in her pants to do a red wee in.

FrannyandZooey · 16/08/2007 23:13

"My" banana cake is sugar free

OP posts:
BBBee · 16/08/2007 23:15

can I just clarify that the use of a mooncup does no way make me an 'earth mother'.

100 - did you buy anythign from europa? We have one of those hideous mice on a keyring and a bizarre mini rubber duck with love hearts on it.

FrannyandZooey · 16/08/2007 23:15

BBB my ds asks about my mooncup every time we have boiled eggs. "Why aren't you using your special cup for your egg mummy?" He is very confused poor love. He does also know that each month an unfertilised egg passes out of a woman and doesn't believe me when I tell him it is too small for him to see it. "Let's look on your chair Mummy it has probably landed on there."
