Stick at Posey, you're sooooo right about it being a tough time, your brain will come up with ANY justification as to why one will be fine.
After all, you've come so far, people say the nictotine addiction is over after 7 days (ha !), you've proved how strong you are & have beaten it so it's fine to have one, it will be just one because you're an ex-smoker now.
('Scuse my language) BOLLOCKS, IT IS STILL THE NICOTINE TALKING, you obviously know that really, but it still sneaks up when you're feeling vulnerable, be strong.
Stick your tongue out, put your hands over your ears and walk round the living room chanting 'I'm not listening' you'll find the moment passes or your partner will have you committed and you won't be able to smoke there anyway.
Sorry, not trying to be flippant, I really, really remember how tough it was but if you break now, you've got the whole starting to stop thing to do again, DON'T GIVE IN !!
This includes you CC and FG, MM and anyone I've missed, it's not just for Posey cos you will ALL get to feeling like her.
If you don't and carry on with little accidents (FFS you're not potty training !) I think we'll have to organise a 'Mumsnet anti nicotine Christmas do' where I will lecture you before collapsing into my pint of red wine Actually, I've cut back so make it a half...
