For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

Do you have any friends nearby who can help, Lullabyloo?

FrannyandZooey · 28/07/2007 21:02

Oh lullaby that is nasty

what are you doing till dh comes back? Can you get yourself as comfortable as you can and watch an old film or something? You need to cosy yourself up...

Do you feel like talking on the phone? Would you like one of us to ring you?

TooTicky · 28/07/2007 21:05

Oh LL !!
Wish I could come and help. Would if I was close enough!!
Huge hugs anyway!

pinkspottywellies · 28/07/2007 21:08

Oh LL, it sounds horrid
I haven't been on here for days! Certainly haven't been 10/10ing but since I've been coming on this thread my intake has definitely upped just becasue I think about it more. So thanks everyone! And now I'm going to have an apple even though what I'd really like is some Phish Food!

FrannyandZooey · 28/07/2007 21:09

FrannyandZooey · 28/07/2007 21:11

Gosh yes I am happy to talk on the phone too if it would help LL. Not too long for you now until dh is back. I have just looked at your profile btw, and your pics are BEAUTIFUL

Tatties · 28/07/2007 21:15

OMG Franny! I am always doing things like that too. I am very spooky

3andnomore · 28/07/2007 21:15

(((lullyby))) haven't followed the whole thread really, but know you aren't well, you poor thing....it's not cellulitis (as in the infection) that you have, is it?

pinkspottywellies · 28/07/2007 21:17

Ooh spooky Franny! Are you going to get some? I haven't had any for a couple of years but it was on offer last week!

FrannyandZooey · 28/07/2007 21:17

Tatties I am now thinking it was such a bizarre co-incidence that it must be MORE than a co-incidence IYSWIM

and the only conclusion I can come to is that I am CONSTANTLY eating Phish Food

which would explain why my new bra completely does not fit

FrannyandZooey · 28/07/2007 21:17

PSW

well it seemed like fate, it would have been churlish to say no

Tatties · 28/07/2007 21:19

SPOOKY FACT

I have never had Phish Food!

What flavour is it?

pinkspottywellies · 28/07/2007 21:19

Ooh more spook - I got 2 new bras yesterday! Katie Price (Jordan) has a new range in Asda which are reasonably priced and fit me !

TooTicky · 28/07/2007 21:19

3andnomore, just seen your bump art - fab idea! - bet that made the midwives smile.

FrannyandZooey · 28/07/2007 21:21

LOL Tatties

it is chocolate and caramel and chocolate and marshmallow and chocolate, roughly speaking, and it has little chocolate fish in

Tatties · 28/07/2007 21:22

I NEED some new bras

pinkspottywellies · 28/07/2007 21:22

Phish food is chocolate ice cream with marshmallow and caramel swirls and chocolate fish. It's yummy and I just looked on the Ben and Jerry's website and they do a frozen yoghurt version which is lower in fat but usually just as yummy!

TooTicky · 28/07/2007 21:22

I want new bras. I have 2 that fit but could do with at least one more. Looked in grotty Peacocks today and all the bras were synthetic, shiny and full of horrible underwiring. Except for one cotton sports bra which looked like a parachute harness.

FrannyandZooey · 28/07/2007 21:23

PSW I got one in the BHS sale because they are always cheap in there and I just needed a new white one for work (other colours show up under sports shirt)

is odd balconette shape and digs in

bad choice, and wrong size, I reckon
