I think we need some form of public humiliation for those who fail every night.

i'm doing it, but before i read this thread! dh and i decided last week....do you think there's something in the air? i think we will drink tonight tho as it's my dad's birthday and they're coming round for a curry (hmmmm, low fat eh?)

cd months off are great as you become v cheap date afterwards due to renewed low tolerance!

have also been trying but... it became apparent yesterday that it was either have a drink (or hope of one that evening) or kill alien tosser man at work and spend rest of life in Holloway.

see I don't like wine at all really ....its just other people drive me to it....

Half a stone without trying is my sort of half a stone. Mind you am trying to combine this with more exercise so may not actually lose that much weight - depends on what I burn off compared to how much muscle I get, I suppose (fat is lighter than muscle, a rather revolting fact I keep writing about). Right, I'm considering a month. Which would take me to 4 October.

Alcohol free lager sounds good. Also could go to pub which I am supposed to do next week with old mate and appear to be drinking.

i have managed an unbelievable for me - 2 whole nights without touching a drop. So how do I feel so crap????? I could hardly get out of bed this am,. and have had a very rare headache , gradually getting worse all day. Worse than a hangover, and without the fun.

does anyone know how many units are in a full bottle of wine?

if 11% abv it's 8 units
If 14% it's 11.5!
