I am going to cut it out on weekdays to start with before I turn into the local wino

I'm crap ..had a big bust up with ds1 (16) and two bottles of Bacardi Breezer. Please slap me......

MI, dh and I have lost half a stone each without trying! Mainly cos you have less half pissed bedtime pig-outs I suspect

i'm doing it, but before i read this thread! dh and i decided last week....do you think there's something in the air? i think we will drink tonight tho as it's my dad's birthday and they're coming round for a curry (hmmmm, low fat eh?)

cd months off are great as you become v cheap date afterwards due to renewed low tolerance!

have also been trying but... it became apparent yesterday that it was either have a drink (or hope of one that evening) or kill alien tosser man at work and spend rest of life in Holloway.

see I don't like wine at all really ....its just other people drive me to it....

Half a stone without trying is my sort of half a stone. Mind you am trying to combine this with more exercise so may not actually lose that much weight - depends on what I burn off compared to how much muscle I get, I suppose (fat is lighter than muscle, a rather revolting fact I keep writing about). Right, I'm considering a month. Which would take me to 4 October.

Alcohol free lager sounds good. Also could go to pub which I am supposed to do next week with old mate and appear to be drinking.

I thought we could drink at the weekend??????????

You can do what you like, but you will be named and shamed if you have said you are not drinking one night and you do.

i have managed an unbelievable for me - 2 whole nights without touching a drop. So how do I feel so crap????? I could hardly get out of bed this am,. and have had a very rare headache , gradually getting worse all day. Worse than a hangover, and without the fun.

does anyone know how many units are in a full bottle of wine?

if 11% abv it's 8 units
If 14% it's 11.5!
