For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

I crave green beans alot. I love them at the moment, really soft with mayonaise. Mmmmmmmm.

Don't worry 100x, the tea room - whatever may occur - i'll be broadcasting - i'm no good at keeping silent, if i was in a criminal type scenario, you know, say a heist for example, i'd sing like a canary and have to go through the witness relocation scheme.

Boco · 27/06/2007 16:56

Oh and i've had tomatoes, raspberries, grapes, strawberries and a handful of dried apricots.

ahundredtimes · 27/06/2007 17:03

on this occassion I have to say I am just so glad you are a sharer. If you have to go in the witness protection programme, can I help in chosing your new identity? I'd love that, I've got loads of ideas.

Am about to go and add rocket and green beans to my list. I adore green beans, but I like them crunchy, barely steamed in fact.

Boco · 27/06/2007 17:08

'on this occasion' ? Hmm, so usually, you don't appreciate my sharing do you, you'd rather i didn't share. Especially mooncup related information. I want you to find it endlessly interesting, i'm disappointed you don't. [sulks]

Oh a new identity would be great. Will start work on it straight after the Aldburgh meet up.

FrannyandZooey · 27/06/2007 17:08

Ok, so we need to reprogram Boco after the meet up

I am getting quite good at it now, the job I did on NQC obviously worked a treat

ahundredtimes · 27/06/2007 17:10

I love the fact you share, I love it all, except just the, well, yes, you know. But I fully respect your right to share that information. I will fight for your right to share that information. When you have a new identity though, it might have to go. Can't be helped, is just the way it is. Is too identifiable.

Boco · 27/06/2007 17:11

Wow I agree - she's steely, won't budge an inch - insisting that the 'darkness' was only relating to the lighting. Amazing.

FrannyandZooey · 27/06/2007 17:13

So can we have a sweepstake on how long it will take us to brainwash 100 into getting a mooncup?

OP posts:
Boco · 27/06/2007 17:13

I'm sure it'll go anyway - it's a novelty, it's only month two, by next month i'll be no longer so keen to give regular updates.

By the way Franny - this month it's much easier - no problems, think i've cracked it.

That's it now, no need to ever speak of it again.

Are you very squeamish 100x. Is it just period related, or general body related stuff. How was childbirth? must admit the word lochia makes me gag.

Boco · 27/06/2007 17:14

Well Franny i'd guess around between never and the freezing of hell.

FrannyandZooey · 27/06/2007 17:15

Yay Boco

I love mine, it makes menstruating a joy and a delight

seriously 100 if you don't like period stuff this makes it SO much better

OP posts:
FrannyandZooey · 27/06/2007 17:15

Nah Boco

we will chip away at her bit by bit

Hey 100 if you agree to look at the Mooncup website for 3 mins, I will email you something about the meet up

OP posts:
NotQuiteCockney · 27/06/2007 17:20

Mooncups really are lovely.

What brainwashing?

Look, there was some unpleasantness about the last meet up, but I wasn't there for any of it, or involved in any of it, so anything I would have to say would be third hand or something at best. And what's the point? Honestly, there's more than enough sniping and bitching around here (around everywhere!) for anyone.

Boco · 27/06/2007 17:29

Oh, ok NQC [feeling small emoticon]

Was hoping for slightly more drama and intrigue than that, but nevermind.

Franny what do i have to do to get you to email me with information? I actuall bought one, surely that counts for something.

[not that i wish to participate in bitching or sniping, though, no thank you - just hate not knowing things that everybody knows.]

Professorfilthymindedvixen · 27/06/2007 18:20

me too but I am much too polite to ask...

I have had many strawbs, 4 plums, a banana, carrot and lentil soup and have just made a swoonsomely picturesque rataouille for dinner which is rainbow coloured! (Well, ok, there's not exactly blue in it but reds, yellow, pink, green orange and purple.... I wish I could show you

Toots - I will go and do some research...the toffee sauce for popcron can easily be dairy free (there are some dairy free spreads which are suitable for cooking, I just can't think of the brand names.
To serve 4: You get about 1oz of spread, heat it, add 2 tblspoons golden syrup, a tiny splash of vinegar, a spoon of brown suger and hear til it boils, then pour over popcorn. You don't need very much at all to make the popcorn feel like a treat.

I'm sure I can adapt a toffee and a fudge recipe to use soya milk...I'll look into it

Sadly I don't know how to crystalise petals without egg white.

FrannyandZooey · 27/06/2007 18:21

Have had avocado, lettuce, tomato, cucumber, beetroot, chickpeas

and lots of chocolate

OP posts:
lionheart · 27/06/2007 18:29

This thread got very chatty while I wasn't looking .... have had cuc, lettuce, peppers, sweetcorn (by the bucketload), apples, satsumas, strawberries.

NotQuiteCockney · 27/06/2007 18:31

Oh, I'm not above it all, I was happy to hear gossip when it was fresh , I'm just tired of it all now.

Have had guacomole, and more peas.

Oh, and made chocolate and brazil nut biscuits, but was much more careful about the timing this time, and they've come out much better. I think I will cook them even less next time.

Professorfilthymindedvixen · 27/06/2007 18:31

Cheers! Chin Chin! Bottoms up, Boco!

lionheart · 27/06/2007 19:33

Boco, look at the web site, collect the e mail and then whisper the contents to me.

It's not a pleasing photograph, somehow, but I bet they had a hell of a job deciding precisely what her expression should be and how to hold the product.

FrannyandZooey · 27/06/2007 19:41

NQC, your email account is bouncing mails back to me

OP posts:
Boco · 27/06/2007 19:54

No that picture would put me off mooncups. The woman has very dry hair. That's what puts me off porn too - all the dry hair.
