For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information if you follow the link at the very bottom of the page

Ouch, Talcy, just ouch.

I expect it's easier to think of it as being resourceful, rather than about depriving yourself of stuff.

Is it harder than you thought it would be?

Is filly avoiding an essay or something?

Franny last seen heading for the kitchen. Since then, silence.

Mrscarrot · 21/06/2007 21:30

God yes, only just noticed there was a second thread about it too, not very nice.

I would love to give up spending, would maybe need a personality transplant.

I am here lionheart! Have eaten tomatoes and cucumber. And quite a lot of chocolate. I somehow don't have to count the weeks to predict when my period is about to start, these days

OP posts:
Mrscarrot · 21/06/2007 21:39

I ate loads of chocolate earler with a glass of red wine.

Then I had a headache and thought I better have a glass of water and a nice fresh apple.

I think this thread is getting through to me

FrannyandZooey · 21/06/2007 21:41

I'd crack after forty-eight hours, for sure.

Hello, Franny.

ahundredtimes · 21/06/2007 21:43

Ok so what do I do? Tell you what I've eaten today?

Mrscarrot · 21/06/2007 21:43

forgot about the balls, Franny, I don't think they're good enough to sell, I was only shown how to do them the other day!

I will happily send you one free of charge for your wkany? baskets, although, you can buy a perfect sphere from Myriad, much better than my wonky efforts. I am improving though.

ahundredtimes · 21/06/2007 21:44

Oh my do I have to have opinions on baskets? You NEVER mentioned that.

Quattrocento · 21/06/2007 21:44

F&Z can't do this diet but wanted to say what a fab thread title

ahundredtimes · 21/06/2007 21:45

Why can't you Quatt? Come on. This is my first time here and they're all ignoring me and talking about baskets. Sit down here. We have to say what we've eaten today.

Mrscarrot · 21/06/2007 21:45

aha, 100x, we got you

say goodbye to the cappucinos

< mwah ha ha >

FrannyandZooey · 21/06/2007 21:46

Yes sit on the Stool of Judging and tell us EVERYTHING, 100x, while we stand around chanting things about brassicas

MrsC please please please please send me felt things, anything interesting and lovely that a baby can suck. Will reimburse all expenses (unless you are knitting with extinct llama hair or something)

hello lionheart

OP posts:
ahundredtimes · 21/06/2007 21:46

Ah well actually funny you mention that, but I have rather CUT DOWN on the coffee intake since I realized the other day that I eat nothing, just drink coffee and then eat brie in the car on the way to school.

There have been changes chez 100.

FrannyandZooey · 21/06/2007 21:47

Quatt it was FMF's idea, not me, she is v clever

however did you see my Smiths one now THAT was good

OP posts:
lionheart · 21/06/2007 21:47
