For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information if you follow the link at the very bottom of the page

oh yes, you wouldn't wanted to eat that castle, horrible sugary confection, the children did though.

Island of sodor, only just got your name. Doh!
Slow Carrot.

Franny- why thank you, I won't tell him you said that, he'll start looking pleased with himself actually I thought his hair looked oddly fluffy on the wedding day, didn't mention it though

lionheart · 24/06/2007 22:26

Oddly fluffy sounds strangely funny.

FrannyandZooey · 24/06/2007 22:27

Hedda LOL thank you very much on ds's behalf, I am really quite partial to him myself. Dp and I have wildly different gene pools, and we think that is the secret of our success with making good-looking children, as neither of us are what you would call stunners ourselves

A timely intervention there Hedda.

He had had a shower, a change of clothes and been in a swimming pool for several hours

we do cooking and painting in pjs, usually

then just dump in laundry

Good evening

Too much to catch up on here but great pics (Franny we have the same dishes ), Avi ds and I have just discovered making cards and it is GREAT, and TTicky, thank you for your email (ages ago I know ), I will reply soon.

Not much fruit and veg in that was there?

MrsCarrot · 24/06/2007 22:43

Hedda -yes, he's much better thanks and no AB's so I'm relieved about that. Home made chips in olive oil sound yum.

Pyjamas for cooking, what a good idea.

I'm intrigued as to who you think dh looks like?

Tatties you are BACK

MrsC I am buggered if I know and it is annoying me intensely now

even if I could work out whether it is someone I know in RL or on the TV

OP posts:
FrannyandZooey · 24/06/2007 22:47

It is almost David Duchovny but not quite

hmmm

You don't actually need to replace eggs with owt. Some people use 1tsp baking powder and 1 tbsp oil per egg not used.

Ooh, can I boast about the cakes I have made?
2 castles, a bear, a treasure chest, a badger, a fox, a train... and all with no artificial doodahs It's become a bit of a tradition and I just slightly dread the next request in case I fail to perform...

Franny, I too was going to comment on the unnatural cleanliness of your kitchen. WHY is there no clutter on your table? (and at your having enough room in your kitchen for a table). Your ds is lovely though

Thanks for birthday ideas.

FrannyandZooey · 24/06/2007 22:48

That's my dining room

we cook in it because it is so very close to the kitchen

OP posts:
MrsCarrot · 24/06/2007 22:48

hmm, will try and find closer shot, hardly any of him annoyingly

Tatties · 24/06/2007 22:50

MrsC your dh is very familiar looking... Davina McCall's husband maybe?

FrannyandZooey · 24/06/2007 22:51

take more

TooTicky · 24/06/2007 22:55

It's still unnaturally tidy for a dining room. And at your having a "dining room" that is not full of mugs and equipment.

Boco · 24/06/2007 22:56

Mr Carrot? but obviously not with the mullet or the highlights or dungarees

TooTicky · 24/06/2007 22:56

MrsC, he puts me in mind of John Travolta.
