For anyone who needs a boot up the arse

Come here and abuse one another until we all eat so much fruit we all fall over

oh and move about a bit as well

You can carry on being fluffy on the other thread if you like, but if you want a stern talking to, or you are actually doing your 10 / 10 then come here and sign in IMMEDIATELY

I have had a sneaky look.

"octupus and squid" in the same breath, on the same plate is too much for me.

lionheart · 14/04/2007 15:54

I do like the badge, though.

FrannyandZooey · 14/04/2007 18:01

Yes it WAS arfy

the cheek of it

as if I need to steal your punters when I have this fine band of....erm....upstanding, fine....erm....lentil folk

and WE DON'T NEED NO STINKING BADGES

ok?

zippitippitoes · 14/04/2007 18:09

ok big disappointment

went to ryton gardens or gardenorganic as they style themselves these days with the thought of having a wander round getting inspired for the future

and also buying some nice veg

walk around was nice and sat like old leper on various benches so that i could enjoy the sunshine

went to the shop having seen some delicious tuff growing like rocket and sparkly ruby chard, asparagus kale, good king henry and such like and the stuff in the shop was shite

absolute crapshite

bought some infinity foods trail mix with gobby berry and cocoa nibs which is quite nice

but no veg

FrannyandZooey · 14/04/2007 18:15

Oh dear zippi what a shame I think it is probably Goji berry in your snack, we seem to be inundated with Goji berries today

(I tried at NQC's and we agreed they tasted of kind of flowery wood )

never mind I am making plans for future rural life

there is a farmers market next friday so I shall try that and hope it doesn't entirely consist of oxtail jelly and garlic chutney!

Oh Avi when I said "you" on the other thread, I meant "arfy", sorry

I think feeling smug is totally justified (although, like me, you should probably be eating more veg), and I am especially impressed by the different coloured melon

I have just had lentil shepherd's pie with green beans and I am going to eat a shed load of fruit when ds has gone to bed

and I WENT TO THE GYM

did 25 mins cardio and lots of weights and EVEN did my shoulder raise / fitball thing that I don't like

OP posts:
zippitippitoes · 14/04/2007 18:39

there were a pack of brownies at ryton scattered about and i had bad mumsnetter thoughts as i sat in th bee garden

just because i overheard a mummy helper talking about horseriding in colorado

FrannyandZooey · 14/04/2007 18:41

And no, we definitely don't need badges (but you can have a t-shirt

and LOL at "bad mumsnetter thoughts as i sat in the bee garden"

harpsichordcarrier · 14/04/2007 18:42

would I be able to join you when my digestion has calmed down.
or would there be too much mockery?
I am not standing any talk of Gillian McKeith and her "principles" though, let's be clear about that from the outset.

FrannyandZooey · 14/04/2007 18:46

Blimey? Really?

gosh

you would be more than welcome, and we don't actually like G Mc Keith as far as I know

erm

you do realise party rings are not one of your 10 a day, right?

OP posts:
FrannyandZooey · 14/04/2007 18:47

OR you could always join WWW and eat spirulina snack balls

would that suit you, at all?

OP posts:
harpsichordcarrier · 14/04/2007 19:06

i must say I found arfishy post a bit quakeworthy

harpsichordcarrier · 14/04/2007 19:06

(though I was heartened that someone else ate cocopops)

FrannyandZooey · 14/04/2007 20:14

Oh arfishy is from the Other Thread HC - we are the cocopop eaters, on this thread. We are very civilised and tolerant all round in fact -

oh god, do I have to buy COCOPOPS for you when you come to stay this time???

OP posts:
FrannyandZooey · 14/04/2007 20:16

Right Nappies that has reminded me to go back and check on you -

what's going on? Why aren't you eating? I mean the cocopops and the banana sounds ok for breakfast, and the baguette and avo for lunch, but it isn't lots, is it, and earlier in the week you were eating very little indeed. What's up?

OP posts:
zippitippitoes · 14/04/2007 20:19

well as i didn't have nice fresh organic veg to play with i had tesco nut burgers and madme or madame beans (frozen soya beans) with grated cheddar and tomato sauce and a couple of cherry tomatoes

I could have a thrid organic pear but may be too much

NappiesGaloreeatsBoysonToast · 14/04/2007 20:44

ooh im being checked on!

shucks.
wellllll, i did eat more baguette. about another one. and an ice cream. and a little gem lettuce. and a humzinger (dried fruit in shiny packaging)

im not deliberately eating v little... its just hard to find time... doesnt everyone else have the same problem?? maybe i shouldnt have had 3 babies in 2.5 years.... hmmmm....

Cazee · 14/04/2007 20:44

Due to falling asleep with my baby this morning, I didn't have breakfast, which has put me behind all day. Did manage 30 mins at gym though. Lunch was lentil soup, houmus and tomato roll, snack was smoothy, dinner roasted veg/puy lentil medley with jacket potato (yummy), so it is probably only about 6 so far today . I will do better tomorrow.

NappiesGaloreeatsBoysonToast · 14/04/2007 20:46

and G mckeith has been exposed as an utter charlatan and total bullshitter. just for reference, in case anyone wasnt in the know.
