Smoothies are fine, it is juice that you have to limit slightly (I reckon 2 of your 10 can be juice)

however I do still maintain if someone else has mushed it up and broken down the fibre for you (ie in this case a liquidiser) then you are not getting the absolute full benefits so if you WANT to be all competitive, I expect raw, whole, fruit and veg, preferably still with mud on, is the way to go

Where are Filly and Overrun? I know Filly is about, but where is Overrun? Anyone seen her?

I have just had the most delicious lunch: big bowl of chopped up carrots, onions, cucumber, black winter radish, lettuce, white cabbage, mizuna, lollo rosso, tangerine and pepperdews, with a big blob of homous. Gaarrrgeous

I have already made this evening's dinner too - soup made of pureed cabbage, leeks, onions, garlic, pearl barley, rocket, fresh parsley, chives and white sprouting broccoli - it's a lovely fresh green colour and really thick - and have cooked butter beans, haricot beans and yellow split peas to be added before serving [drooool] (there will probably be some white fish and granary bread involved as well, but I am not allowed to mention 'irrelevant' foodstuffs, apparently )

right francoise..
today i have had;
an apple
2 bananas
4 carrots
a plate of green beans w sesame oil (lazy)
half an avocado
some dried apricots

i think thats it but then, ive been avoiding going out on the new bike all day so havnt needed much energy.

thats 8 anyway. so far. not bad as far as this 10/10 thing goes.

but im a bit taken aback at how little i seem to be eating, now its written down. hmmm

ok, last night dh did fab thai beef salad thingy with grated beetroot, lambs lettuce, watercress, sesame seeds, red onion, cucumber, chillis and grated carrot. That combined with fermented red grape juice must surely have taken me up to a Big Fat 10 yesterday.?

Today not so good, as have been out all day at Stately Hall place. Though I did manage an avacado, hummous and salad wrap at lunchtime with green tea.
we'll be having pasta, veg sauce and salad for dinner.

Gosh you are all pretty darn good aren't you? Must remember the stick works better than the carrot in future

I have had:

3 apples, 2 kiwis, a pear, grapes, raisins, soya milk, and baked beans mixed with black-eyed beans

just about to eat dinner with broccoli, carrots and sweetcorn

Greeny if you want to be picky about it (and apparently you do) then you mentioned pearl barley

(and are you coming down here or what? email me pls )

So far...apple, banana, roast veg on a jacket potato (2 portions?), a large smoothy (2 portions I think), Hommous scooped out of the pot with rice cakes (I was really, really hungry ). Dinner was chick pea curry, so at least 2 portions there, so I make it 9 so far. Eating a delicious pear as I type, which DS has nibbled and declared is "The King OF Pears" so that makes...10!!!

WWell since i hopped back on the bandwagon i have been doing quite well. I have had :-

Brakfast - 1 Apple, 1 Nana, Bunch of Garpes.

Lunch - 2 Sandwiches with lettuse, tomato's, spring onions, cheese, chicken and pickle.

Dinner - Cod and Chips and peas.

Pudding - Strawberries and Grapes.

All washed down with lots and lots of water!

Today I have had raisins, kiwi, OJ, banana, hummus and same dinner as yesterday so I reckon I've had 8 or 9.

Aviatrix, cashew nut butter is yummy isn't it! And if I was anywhere near you I would happily water the veg patch Going anywhere nice?

I have eaten more fruit tonight and now have a nice headache - usual detoxy kind of reaction when I start overdosing on f+v so I am not worried

I felt really calm, happy and positive today, this food is really suiting me and I am pretty sure I will make the gym this weekend (have LARGE muffin overhang on jeans inspiring me to go as well)

Oh poo, Olivia the sneak has written to Greeny to explain why her post was deleted (I was hoping Greeny would think it was because she called me a snidey hoor )
