Well I have played ring-a-ring-a-roses (plus jumping up and down bits) with ds which got me out of breath I know that's not good enough. I haven't eaten enough fruit or veg either today but I have had virtually no appetite

Think I'm going the right way for a boot up the arse...

Please can I join? My sister has been aiming for 9 a day, so we both did food diaries to see how we do in general, and I was ASHAMED . Today I have had beans and mushrooms with breakfast (in tesco cafe, DH back at work tomorrow, so last day of holiday sort of thing...), hummous and tomato sandwich, brown rice with peppers, onion, beansprouts, carrot, courgette and a tofu fillet. is that about 6? 30m in gym, but very, very slow.

Well you've done better than me today Cazee.

Dp tells me that in Japan apparently the recommendation is to eat 10 portions of f&v a day - think the portions must be smaller though. I usually find 5 no bother, consistently seem to get around 7, and only on a really conscientious day do I get 10.

30 mins slow in gym is fine

your food was GOOD - beans, hummus and tofu all count so I reckon you have had at least 7 (depends on portions). Eat a few pieces of fruit and you will be there

Lionheart do not get too cocky Missy. Old timers need to get their 10 EVERY DAY or it will be press ups and 100 lines for you in the morning

Tatties the recommendation for optimum health worldwide I believe is at least 8 (I could be making this up) but the gov here reckon that will scare people off and they can only reasonably aim for 5

Well dinner was crap (well it was delicious but not so great with veg!) I have a sea food pasta, but it had a tomatoe sauce! and the chocolate fudge cake had a strawberry on top It was also accompanied by 3 cocktails (one was a strawberry daqurai!!) and half a bottle of rose wine (grapes??) Ok i admit crap day!! should i be the 1st to get a boot camp battering!!
