FrannyandZooey · 15/04/2007 08:59

I like this pate verrrry much indeed. It is very sweet and probably very salty as well. It really hits the spot MY GOD I AM STILL STARVING and I just ate a huge bowl of RAW OATS and god knows what

oh and if anyone can help me with my low blood pressure / pins and needles thing then I would be very grateful

NappiesGaloreeatsBoysonToast · 15/04/2007 09:02

posted re low blood pressure.

NappiesGaloreeatsBoysonToast · 15/04/2007 09:38

i just remembered while cleaning kitchen just now (had a bowl of muesli with a banana sliced on) that the reason i might be a bit shirty this morning is that ds1 took his nappy off before crawling into bed with me at 5am and i woke up in a large puddle of piss an hour and a half later.
yep, that'll do it.
grrrr

FrannyandZooey · 15/04/2007 12:05

Oh

yes that would explain it I would think

hopefully the fruit etc will have you joyful again by this evening?

Superb aviatrix

(don't stray too far from a bathroom tomorrow now will you?)

I took ds out in the pod bike trailer and my thighs are swelling with pride (oh and pain )

OP posts:
frootyshooty · 15/04/2007 20:02

Had grated carrot, olive and hummous sandwiches for lunch, followed by spring greens, sweet potato, roast onions, asparagus, carrots, grean beans and baby sweetcorn (accompanying my roast beef!) for dinner, with home-grown rhubarb crumble (and cream!) for pud.

Grooooooo. My stomach hurts...

FrannyandZooey · 15/04/2007 22:12

I am too full as well. I took my lovely teenage girls out for dinner and felt if I ordered lots they would feel less self-conscious about eating more food (they tend to pick at stuff a bit)

or that was my excuse anyway

then I thought if I said I didn't want a pudding they would feel too shy to order one

etc

anyway am stuffed now. Had party nibbles all afternoon too, oh dear, at least it was all fairly 10 / 10 ish and I don't think I will wake up at 6.30 am feeling hungry tomorrow...

(ps frootyshooty person who are you?)

Today I have been mostly eating...soya milk, pineapple juice, homemade kidney bean burgers (sweet potato, carrots, onions, kidney beans), salad, warm bulgar wheat salad (including cucumber and tomato), smoothy, beans, so I think i made about 9 today. BTW I pronounce my name to rhyme with Jazzy.

FrannyandZooey · 16/04/2007 08:07

Blimey, this is such a relaxing haven of lentilly goodness. I am so zenned out by the bulgar wheat salad and the rhubarb crumble that I really can't keep up the boot camp facade any more - is it ok if I revert back to my queen of quinoa persona instead?

I am eating apple, pineapple, pear, 2 kiwis, raisins and soya milk. Lentil shepherds pie for lunch, then more party food for dinner with vegan friend which will involve hummus and many crudites, plus a trip to his allotment where I am hoping to pick up some supplies for later in the week. Ds terribly excited saying "Let's pick all of Vegan Friend's beans, he never minds. I hope he's got cabbages for us!"

Hello every one, I am back following a complete break down with my internet connection
It sounds like lots has been going on, Franny you got quite scarey there for a while.
I don't seem to have any fruity/veggie goodness in the house today, my veg box comes tomorrow. So that will solve the veg situation. I desperately want to join in, but don't have much to report.
I am aiming to take the children out for a run around in the park this afternoon, so at least there will be exercise.
So far, museli and OJ (2 portions )

FrannyandZooey · 16/04/2007 12:55

Phew Overrun I was hoping you would appear again. How is the recovery from your op going? We did miss you.

Aviatrix 17 portions . Remind me not to stand downwind of you today.

I have been at the doctors about my saddo pins and needles ailment. They have taken blood and my arm has swollen up impressively. There was a lump like an extra large walnut on it at one point but when I scooted back they said this was normal

Thanks for your interest, I am recovering well. Less good is the fact that the op doesn't seem to have made much difference Well we will see.
Since posting this morning, I have done the kick about in the park and also had an apple. So up to 3, yippee. I have also been shopping so am feeling less fruit denied.
Franny, sorry to hear about your pins and needles thing, hope it resolves for you soon.
I seem to have a quite low blood pressure, feeling dizzy if I stand up too quickly that kind of thing. I also get pins and needles probably more often than some, although not ofen enough to be concerend.
So its not that uncommon, but not very pleasant I'm sure. I will try and look in on your other thread to get more details

filthymindedvixen · 16/04/2007 16:52

oh sorry, frootyshooty was me playing on the name change thread.

gaw-juss home made purple sprouting brocooli and stilton and pine nut soup for lunch. Planning something chickeny with roasted veg for dinner. No excersise other than pottling round town

But tomorrow have a long, brisk walk to a friend's house followed by much nail-biting (that's good cardio workout, non??) as I am starting a new college curse nd am nervous.

NappiesGalore · 16/04/2007 17:42

ok yesterday somerthing of a write off as i went out for lunch and dinner in the end (dp for lunch, mum for dinner) both meals were lovely (the beef at lunch was melt in the mouth delicious) but veg quotient not that high... cant remember what i snacked on along the way but will guess yesterday was at about 7(?)

today.... been shopping for a million pairs of shoes and other bits for new term (ds1&2 start at 'school' on Thursday) with all 3 ds's and my mum, had progress meeting with architect, dug around in the barn for kitchen stuff for my mum whos just got a flat to herself, had ds's friends over and done other chasing-after-childreny things... so had time today to eat:
bowl of cerealx2
avocado
humous and veg wrap
some grapes
couple slices ham
the odd bite of the kids tea (but stopped myself or they wouldnt get any!)

am starving! but my mums gone out to get some dinner for us so i guess ill wait. might go get some dates or summat...

glad youre very zen-ed Fran.... feel rushed and hungry and knackered myself! and im going for a bike ride at 7.... ha! i may be some time....

FrannyandZooey · 16/04/2007 20:05

aaargh am exhausted

want to lie on the sofa and nod off

but dp is playing on the DS Lite with Vegan Friend despite me having said goodbye to him in a hinting way before I went up to put ds to bed

I have eaten hummus and peppers and cucumber and beetroot and mushrooms and celery for dinner, and Vegan Friend has bequeathed us a huge bag of asparagus

but the bike trailer is doing my thighs in, it is a steep old learning curve to get used to it

OP posts:
Tatties · 16/04/2007 20:17

Franny what is a DS Lite? [thick]

filthymindedvixen · 16/04/2007 20:20

Nintendo DS Lite thingy I'm assuming she means.

In my house DS Lite means DS2, who is the flippant, happy-go-lucky one, as opposed to DS1 who harbours gothic angst in his 9-year-old soul....

Tatties · 16/04/2007 20:25

FMV

Of course I could have asked dp but I'd rather look dumb in front of you lot
