It's back For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and more detailed information here

I was trying to claim that you were some anti-Europe anti-internationalist nutter.

But the complete and utter incomprehension thing is defeating me it appears.

I really desperately need more sleep, I would like to go clubbing tomorrow but absolutely could not do it if I am as tired tomorrow as I am today.

NotQuiteCockney · 16/02/2007 19:46

Now I'm sitting down for a citrus binge - pomelo, grapefruit and a couple of little oranges. Yum!

FrannyandZooey · 16/02/2007 20:11

"I was trying to claim that you were some anti-Europe anti-internationalist nutter."

ah

well why didn't you just SAY so?

I hope you feel better tomorrow. Can you go to bed really early?

OP posts:
NotQuiteCockney · 16/02/2007 20:27

Well, 'I am trying to cast weird aspersions on Frances' character by imagining she has a shrine to that weirdo orange guy' doesn't quite work as well, does it? I guess it probably does work, given how poorly this worked.

I will try to go to bed early, but I suck at all that. I didn't get to sleep until 1am last night or something insane like that, and then my gut woke me at 6:30 in the morning this morning.

I still have to call the woman I'm meant to be clubbing with tomorrow, to check she's still on for it. I could maybe ask the mum at DS1's school that I'm seeing tomorrow, but I somehow don't think it's her scene ...

Did MrFrances like the bit of pomelo?

FrannyandZooey · 16/02/2007 20:40

Sorry, I am probably the wrong person to try subtle jokes on

for one thing it is Friday night and I am tired and stoopid, for another I never know who anyone is

Dp says "Yes, it was very nice. Well, it was nice."

He is the killing with faint praise type

OP posts:
NotQuiteCockney · 16/02/2007 20:41

Does he really never give you actual compliments?

You've got to read The Game. He is clearly negging you. Does he peacock?

NotQuiteCockney · 16/02/2007 20:45

Here is a video about Kilroy-Silk and his (now extinct?) party, Veritas. It's very good. Not entirely sincere, though.

NotQuiteCockney · 16/02/2007 20:47

Hmmm, one problematic anti-SN word in there. The tune is quite catchy though. Not enough kazoos in modern music, imo.

FrannyandZooey · 16/02/2007 20:49

His compliments would be along the lines of

"you don't sweat much for a fat lass"

That is not an actual example of something he has said to me, just, you get the gist

FrannyandZooey · 16/02/2007 20:50

Oh lord I can't watch or listen to things

next thing you will be wanting me to have a RL conversation or something

OP posts:
NotQuiteCockney · 16/02/2007 20:51

Yes, he is clearly a PUA. Does he peacock? Does he do magic tricks, analyse your handwriting or similar tricks.

Does he out-AMOG the AMOG? DH says he didn't.

Hmmm, DH says that when in a group, he would pay the least attention to whomever he most wants to sleep with ... does he do that?

NotQuiteCockney · 16/02/2007 20:51

I think you'd like the kilroy-silk thing. What was the tiny musical isntrument in your house? A banjo? Or what?

NotQuiteCockney · 16/02/2007 20:52

Now I'm a bit worried that DH thinks he's the AMOG, but never mind ...

FrannyandZooey · 16/02/2007 21:16

oh ruddy nora you are speaking Canadian or something tonight

I am too tired, crazy bald lady

I am going to read my crime book actually, I have lost the power of coherent thought

Fillyjonk · 17/02/2007 08:07

and pmsl at last message from frany

"and when franny goes to sleep...all her friends go to sleep to..."

NotQuiteCockney · 17/02/2007 09:23

Franny, it looked like a banjo, but was in a case. Near the bikes, near the front door.

I went to bed early, but was woken at 3:30 by a pukey DS2. Yum. He woke up very abruptly, and was shouting for BOOB! I was just about to say it was the middle of the night, no way, when he started puking.

He did go back to sleep, and slept in, at least.

I don't know what will happen today. Well, we have a spare kid showing up around 1pm, and a birthday party after that. Dunno if I'll go clubbing, got to call the mum I was talking about going with.

FrannyandZooey · 17/02/2007 09:24

Morning Britney

OP posts:
NotQuiteCockney · 17/02/2007 09:25

Oh :-P

I am absolutely wearing knickers if I go clubbing.

FrannyandZooey · 17/02/2007 09:26

Laziness is enough, Filly, I am suffering from an attack as well. We will have to boot each other up the arse soon I think.

Ah that was ds's 1/4 size guitar, NotQuiteBritney. He would have played you a Jackson 5 number if you had asked.

Sorry you have poorliness there again
