6 cans for £3.50 for me!!

I've never been there. Is it any good? Isn't it incredibly expensive?

OP posts:
imaginaryfriend · 16/09/2006 22:57

I don't mean I've drunk 6 cans. There are 6 cans. I'm on my 3rd.

OP posts:
charliecat · 16/09/2006 22:59

It is incredibly expensive, it would have been 106 quid for four of us But ive been spending on my tescos credit card...and you get points that you can swop for deals, and one fo those deals is legoland. Have also done thorpe park and alton towers and a few loacl places wiht these vouchers,a ll free of charge
Not worth 106. 20 quid if that.

charliecat · 16/09/2006 23:00

tesco deals
Youve got a cheep beer seller near you!

imaginaryfriend · 16/09/2006 23:06

Yes, there are many desperate people where I live who have alcoholic needs without having any dosh.

charliecat · 16/09/2006 23:09

LOL and we cash in on that sometimes
It scares me how much cheap beer our one stop goes through actually..they are permanently restocking shelf fulls of it and just leave it in the middle of the floor in cases as it goes so quick...
I am falling asleep and am going to nod off now...chat soon xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

imaginaryfriend · 16/09/2006 23:24

night night cc. Don't stay away so long next time?

OP posts:
imaginaryfriend · 17/09/2006 11:27

Strangely, this morning, emptying the washing machine I suddenly felt incredibly sad that when I walk out to the park now with dd, the pleasure of that first morning fag outside wouldn't be there. And I couldn't think of a thing to replace it with. When does that kind of feeling go?

OP posts:
charliecat · 17/09/2006 11:40

That sort of feeling is the most dangerous of all Youve forgotten the foul coughing up of shite from your lungs etc etc, the feeling that you wish you didnt HAVE to do this everyday of your life.
thats does go...eventually and its replaced by a warm feeling of looking on at smokers in a pub and feeling free.
And sad for them.

imaginaryfriend · 17/09/2006 11:41

when, cc?

OP posts:
charliecat · 17/09/2006 11:42

The pleasure of that outside fag was in the fact that it wasnt in a confined space so you could get away from the reek...honestly

imaginaryfriend · 17/09/2006 11:49

I mean when does that kind of feeling go?

I think a lot of the pleasure was scratching the itch of addiction and the waiting to get outdoors only enhanced that.

OP posts:
imaginaryfriend · 17/09/2006 11:50

urg ... tesco calls ...

see you later!

OP posts:
charliecat · 17/09/2006 11:51

Dunno, it just does. And so when you have it again your realise that it was months since the lst time.

notasheep · 17/09/2006 15:37

Sunday lunch at pub,2 bottles of Stella and no cravings.

Computer has been down and i have been craving mumsnet instead

imaginaryfriend · 17/09/2006 20:39

Only 2 Stellas? Lightweight ... But well done for the faglessness.

Well, it turned into another day when I just didn't think about smoking. It still amazes me that I can go so long without it entering my mind now.

What you been up to today cc? I've been in the park, at Tesco, met a friend and her dd briefly, watched Wizard of Oz on DVD. Dd said it was ok but she wouldn't want to watch it again. Scooby Doo is her current passion.

OP posts:
notasheep · 17/09/2006 22:28

Ifriend-looks like your brain is really getting in the right place, that example i gave re my ex was just that.

Not prepared to drive for over an hour to get to Tesco

charliecat · 18/09/2006 09:30

Is there a new wizard of oz? or is it the old one on dvd? I wasnt fussed on the old one

imaginaryfriend · 18/09/2006 10:09

Hi cc! Are you enjoying the Maggie O Farrell then?

A cat, (not)a sheep, and an imaginary friend. We could be in a children's story couldn't we?

Hey cc, why don't you try to make it into London and have coffee with me and the (non)woolly one when we meet up in November? It would be great to see you both together ...

OP posts:
charliecat · 18/09/2006 10:16

Noooooooooooo...lol...prefer being annnoyypuss

imaginaryfriend · 18/09/2006 10:59

OP posts:
charliecat · 18/09/2006 14:06

You havent saw my beard or heard my gruff truckers voice though have you?

notasheep · 18/09/2006 14:18

Dentist AGAIN on Friday, tooth good, dentist is fab.

Beginning to feel like i can do this for the rest of my time on this planet.
Saw parents yesterday, they are 78 and 77-no cancers, there is hope for me yet....

imaginaryfriend · 18/09/2006 14:46

Cc, you should come for a coffee in disguise. Dye your beard and come as Father Christmas? It'll be seasonal. And you'll keep your anonymity?

nota, can the dentist help you give up anything else? You seem to be seeing him a lot ... dishy is he?

OP posts:
notasheep · 18/09/2006 20:35

ifriend-it has taken me 5 years living here to finally find an NHS Dentist-and its an hour and 10 minutes drive for the pleasure.Hence i need masses done,so 3 consecutive Fridays!!!! dp has been doing the driving and looking after ds whilst there
