DH and I have quit last monday. I am very confident though.

It's not as hard as I thought as I reduced a lot since DD was born anyway. The evenings are the worst TBH.

anyway all I am thinking is the money we will be saving...

charliebat · 06/10/2006 11:32

Well done, you could put all the money you would have been spending on fags in a jar and have a good Xmas on it

QuiQuoQua · 06/10/2006 11:34

thought about it. we'd have a fab Xmas with DH with a 20 a day habit!!!

have you quit then?

charliebat · 06/10/2006 11:38

Couple of years nearly I was having a joke at the start of the thread.

notasheep · 06/10/2006 20:23

Although i am feeling very sad,alone,devestated,guilty-dp and i are seperating, the one thing i am feeling fantastic about is -i HAVENT had a fag

As Charlie will say,if i do have one i will still feel sad,alone,devestated,guilty....

So on Monday it will be a whole, entire yesssssssss MONTH without a roll up

notasheep · 06/10/2006 20:25

Actually just looked at the date-its a month on SUNDAY!

Tortington · 06/10/2006 23:44

Stay off the fags though, they are not a plaster for problems.

imaginaryfriend · 07/10/2006 17:54

notasheep! Is it definite?

It's actually pretty brilliant that you've quit because if you hadn't you'd be chainsmoking at this moment in time and as things might get tough for you in the next few months it would be impossible to try to quit.

What's caused the split? If it's not too personal?

OMG by midnight he had changed his mind!!
Our relationship has always been a little wibble wobble,he has left before and then last year i sold the house without telling him as i had enough

Anyway,at this moment he is still here and he wants to come to Relate with me.
Same problems as alot im sure;Trust, relying on him, being responsible, finances, cannabis and porn....prob other issues too.

But the most important thing of all for me is i am still a nonsmoker

Await the next episode-thats how it seems at the moment

notasheep · 09/10/2006 19:55

Walked dd to school and that was it-went to the shop i bought them and this stroppy, power mad assistant manager said they arent waterproof!!!! think she thought i had gone for a swim in them.

Well,i have found the receipt-bought them 10 months ago and with all that lovely hot, hot, hot weather....think i should demand a replacment, feel i am getting much more kind of speaking my mind and strong now i have almost killed the nicotine monster

charliebat · 09/10/2006 19:57

They do leak if you go over the lacey bits in water...i remeber that. But i only remember a not submerged leak when id had them for 4-5 years and wore them 24/7
