like smoking in he car - i have given up 4 weeks on sunday. today i reached over whilst driving - for my fag packet.

dh and i used fag breaks on adverts to communicate with each oher. we used to go into kitchen to the back door, and talk about stuff.
we have to ree learn communication - its not going well.

so adverts make me think of getting up and having a fag.

anyway i am still knitting - have made pom poms too - and taught the kids how to. i have the FUGLIEST scarf - ever - ever -ever but i love it.

In Bristol weekend of christmas meet up (sounds like i travel with my job)!
My trips to London are nothing to do with work,its part of my social life and time for MYSELF away from dd and ds and for dp to appreciate me when i return

Purr Im back Arent we all doing well? Custardo...totally kow what you mean about the communicating over a fag. Yep yep yep.
(BUT...the thing is, you would talk to any old smoker in the street just so you didnt look like a daft f**cker standing doing it all by yourself)
I ended up quite pissed off that my brain was working AGAINST me instead of for me.
Had to really battle with it to stop it making me walk toward the nearest rollup.

Yayyy to the week/month thing. Every bloody day without ones a great achievemant though really isnt it??!!

Dentist again today-he was very impressed that i just stopped smoking after wisdom tooth out.

I could EASILY have a fag right now but i know that it will pass and that one day it will all be
history.

Example 1;i stopped smoking for 2 years then my husband walked out on me(long story,he was a gambler)thought i was going to be homeless,stressed up to the sky and the most amazing thing of all was i DIDNT start smoking again i was that far down the road in my brain that i didnt even think of having a fag.Friends even asked had i gone back on the fags

I have been a bit shaky the last few days. Not drastic, just had a lot on my mind and dd's been very unhappy at school which always gets to me because she's such a socially fragile little girl. What's got to me about smoking is how easy it would be to just have one. How close to failing I can be.

When you started smoking after your 3 year quit, what started you off again?

hope your dd is ok-i cant think of anything worse than worrying about our children.
It is soooooooooo easy to have another one but thats because we are thinking like smokers.non smokers dont think that.
A girlfriend of mine was very blunt-she said you have to decide in your own mind,Are you a smoker or not? easier said than done i know.

I met dp-he was and still is a smoker,we went to country pubs he smoked and i thought i will just have one

Hi all, in this Smokeless Zone! (anyone old enough to remember them?)...breathing sweetly and few cravings ( v. odd ones but soon pass...)..out all day with dd at local "show", and that sort of day always helps.......no, c.c., NEVER just the one..(thousand)....

A good day for me today, made a long trip to see my brother with dd and back very late, with not a slightly thought even, once, of a fag!! Incredible really. It's very out of sight / out of mind for me at the moment.
