Wow I am so touched by all the words of support and hugs! Thank you!

Sorry I have tried writing a proper message and I can't I just can't quite work out what to say. I'm still trying to understand what's happening. Confused

So briefly, scan showed a bleed on my brain, they aren't sure what has caused it, so I need to see a neurologist tomorrow, before they decide whether or not I can continue with the Chemo.

BetsyBoop · 05/02/2014 19:04

wow really Shock More waiting though...I hope the neurologist can shed some light tomorrow and it turns out to be something non-serious and easy to fix. Lots of love and hugs, we will wait with you.

Really all the best for tomorrow.

reallyreallyworried · 06/02/2014 01:52

THANK YOU for all the support Thanks

I can't sleep Sad I have a whole load of 'what ifs' going round and round in my head. I was doing okay, told myself to not think about it till tomorrow (well today now) BUT I just keep hearing the words stroke, brain damage, death etc etc! All those words you really don't want to hear while your in the midst of Cancer treatment!

I called my mum earlier and managed a whole chat about the weather and tube strikes! I couldn't find the words to tell her, I didn't want to worry her until I know what's happening for sure!

I'm scared that they'll have to stop treatment! But then surely the cancer could still be in my body Confused I just don't really understand what else they can do Sad But right now, I'm a little bit frightened!

Will be taking you all with me this morning, and holding your hands very tight. Xxxxxxx

kitkat1967 · 06/02/2014 07:21

Morning all.
Hope you managed to get some sleep Really - we're here to hold your hand for as long as you need us.

Good luck with your chemo wren.

Hope you hear something about your results goodness - it's starting to drag on now.

Hope everyone else is well.

Gigondas · 06/02/2014 07:57

Squeezing your hand really and am so sorry you had 4am jitters. I think it is smart to hold off telling your parents but can see how hard it is to be normal.

Your onc will know what is best on chemo - you have had quite a few cycles so should take comfort from mopping up already done.
Wren hope today goes smoothly.

Goodness hope last night was ok.

My arm looks like it has been caught in car door as had line issues again with iron on Tuesday. Also felt really rough and tired yesterday not helped by yucky heartburn.

So kids tv with mini gig for me now.Brew For anyone interested.

BetsyBoop · 06/02/2014 08:09

Really, I'm right with you today and here at end of my phone. I know it'd be better to have real life company. Anyone going with you?
Don't answer questions if you're not up to it. Sending you love and squeeze hard - wearing my strengthened gloves!

kitkat1967 · 06/02/2014 08:22

Hello gigs. What does mini like - is she a Peppa Pig girl? My 10 year old watches a really sweet programme called Adventure Time in the morning and I must admit I am quite happy when he switches it on Smile.
It's a shame you have arm issues but hang in there - you're almost done.

Well done on getting some sleep goodness - it makes a huge difference.

malteserzz · 06/02/2014 08:31

Morning :)

Really still thinking of you and hope you get some answers today x

Goodness glad you got some sleep

Sorry you're feeling rough gigs, snuggle up with mini if she lets you she looks like she's always on the go to me !

Looking at my rads timetable Monday says new start, then the others say treat and sometimes treat and clinic etc. What's new start ?? Wondering if it's a remeasure seeing as it will be nearly 3 weeks since I got my tattoos

malteserzz · 06/02/2014 08:33

I used to love peppa pig and all of those preschool programmes, ds watches things like the Simpsons now which are not the same. Read another thread on here about tv yesterday when people were saying they let their kids watch 15 minutes a day !!
