Changed name for this.

My nether regions smell very strongly. The only thing I can compare it to is pilchards. It's not a fishy smell as such but I still smell very strongly.

I have not got an infection as I have checked. Can anyone offer any solutions to this.

PMSL @ this thread.

What an total classic this will be bought up in many future threads especially when people are trying to prove who they are for a name change that has worked

melrose · 21/06/2006 21:38

Oh God, I have had a truely crap evening and now having cried with laughter, you have just ensured I go to bed smiling!Although I am not sure going to bed smiling over a virtual strangers minge is a good thing.........

Beauregard · 21/06/2006 21:39

robinpud · 21/06/2006 21:41

btw, many moons ago I had a friend suffering the same problem, but a lot smellier. ! Eventually she twigged that she had forgotten to remove her contraceptive sponge thing so had to go to doctor for manual extraction....

Aero · 21/06/2006 21:50

UCM - poor you - I am sympathetic, honestly, but this is the funniest thread I've read on mn in ages. Priceless!
Visit your GP and I'm sure everything will come up roses in no time (no pun intended, of course).

Thanks so much for the funniest thread ever!

Toothache · 21/06/2006 21:54

.... I'm still laughing from last night!

UCM · 21/06/2006 21:54

Robinpud, that is soooooooooo American. If Mumsnet did voice overs for smelly quims then my script would go something like it did when phoning the Clap Clinic at my local hospital, which I did today as I was going there anyway for a scan.

"Hi, I need some information. I haven't got a sexual disease or anything, gosh I have been married for 10 years, but I think I may have an infection, BV, can I come in today"

"We only do Hiv counselling on Thursdays"

"No, I meant BV, bacterial vagina (couldn't remember the name)"

"Well you can't come in today dear"

"Oh that's ok I will see my GP"

"They will probably refer you back here for that"

UCM - They were helpful then???? You can't come in today...and if you go to your GP they will refer to there and you'll have to wait until Smelly Flange Clinic?

Oh ucm, this is sooo funny. You poor thing, outing yourself like that - no-one will ever let you forget this!

Bless you

3LB · 21/06/2006 23:08

UCM let me first say I hope you get sorted out at the GP, or you could mention it at booking appt at hospital if it is soon. They could do a swab for infections. Sorry if I am repeating other advice, strangely enough I can't recall the serious bits of this thread! God bless you and your ill-fated name change attempt for making me laugh out loud. Give it a week and of us will do the same with an equally embarrassing subject
Hope you get it sorted out.
