Changed name for this.

My nether regions smell very strongly. The only thing I can compare it to is pilchards. It's not a fishy smell as such but I still smell very strongly.

I have not got an infection as I have checked. Can anyone offer any solutions to this.

Good to see that my email raised a laugh, UCM. Tbh, the first draft read "have a fiddle" - but I thought that was a bit much.

UCM if you are pregnant you must see your Dr, sorry don;t want to scare you but BV can be a problem if you have it at delivery, so please don;t leave it.

I had a swab last week & I have got it (thought it was thrush, wondered why I couldn;t shift it) & Dr mentioned about pregnancy thing.

JayzMummy · 21/06/2006 19:39

UCM....just what I needed....thanks hun for a really good giggle.

UnderCoverMinge....made me PMSL....classic

Whizzz · 21/06/2006 19:45

Do you think this will make it onto the Home page ???

SenoraPostrophe · 21/06/2006 19:48

ha ha at this thread!

I didn't know such a thing as fadge wash existed! what will they think of next?

sunchowder · 21/06/2006 19:58

UCM · 21/06/2006 20:17

I'm still pissing myself at the name change! Sorry UCM but that was bloody hilarious!

There was a smelly flange thread not so long ago, turned out she had an infection. Get it checked by your GP, fishy smells indicate infections so I've been told.

chuckle!

kalex · 21/06/2006 20:28

Sorry but PSML.

Have you made an appointment UCM?

Ho Ho - this has made me laugh !! Immediate impression was that UCM stood for "Under Carriage Manky" - sorry - prob no one else would think funny - but I ahve been giggling al day !

But serioulsy - get yourself down the docs pronto UCM - sound slike an infection to me ! Was going to say "tampon" but I see Cod already suggested !

GOOD LUCK - must be horrid ! No one wants a fishy foof !

foxinsocks · 21/06/2006 20:34

poor poor UCM

I almost split my sides at 'ucm is that you'

hope the doctor can sort it out and it turns out to be something that's easy to fix

SnowBoo · 21/06/2006 20:42

UCM, on more of a serious note, get it checked out. I had BV when pg last time and they put me on ABs immediately. And just wash with plain old water, nothing else at all as it will upset the balance. And eat live yoghurt.

Now thats said, this has to be the funniest thread in a while!!!! The name change thing. Very clever disguise....LOL!

fadgewash · 21/06/2006 20:43

I think I did a little wee with the exertion of trying not to explode laughing at CD's "UCM is that you?".

Now THAT HAS to be mumsnet quote of the week, surely?

UCM - I hope you get sorted - for everyones sake

Rhubarb · 21/06/2006 20:51

Where is quote of the week? I can't find it!

SoupDragon · 21/06/2006 20:52

It was, I think, the delightful juxtaposition of the OP and Cds 'UCM is that you?' that made this one of the all time MN classics!

It then went on to give us more gems like 'Under Cover Minge' , califonifraus minimal minge comment and the general concept of Fladge washes!

Utterly hilarious!

quietlydevastated · 21/06/2006 21:04

WELLL!

Was feeling almost suicidal and have now hurt my sides and front and back laughing at this thread, seriously, my face hurts and I have tears streaming down my face .

FWIW I didn't have too bad a smell but down there def got stronger during each pg.

Thank you UCM, you'll never know how much I needed that x. Best of luck.

cutekids · 21/06/2006 21:09

brilliant thread this! am wetting myself laughing! sorry!

FrannyandZooey · 21/06/2006 21:28

I think MN is jinxed as far as whiffy fanny name changing goes. You accidentally outed yourself on your own tampon thread, didn't you cod?

SnowBoo · 21/06/2006 21:29

So now i've worked it out.
First, you bite babys bum and end up smelling like a nappy, then you realise you smell like a fish???

Sure you just haven't washed your nasal passage out properly????!
