And wash it all down with an extra-strong coffee!

graciesmall09 · 19/09/2012 14:55

i know topsy wants to come to flash her manky boob to another hospital. Security have been informed. Jst waiting to go down for angio originally they said it would be done later in week but they are doing it now even though i should have been fasting. Trying not to think that is worrying.

topsyturner · 19/09/2012 15:02

You will be fine Gracie .

MaryAnnSingleton · 19/09/2012 15:02

hugs gracie

amberlight · 19/09/2012 15:07

Gracie, had a few of those emergency angio thingies - what's it been doing?
Hugs.

KurriKurri · 19/09/2012 15:16

Oh gracie - hope they get everything sorted asap, - must be very frightening for you lovey Sad Did you suddenly start feeling poorly?

You will know topsy is on her way - you'll catch the hum of her rancid boob before she is anywhere near Grin

I am feeling very groggy today - no idea why, I haven't been drinking or taken drugs (the legal sort) I have a trapped nerve or something in my shoulder (off to GP tomorrow as also have tendon problem back in my thumb) think it might be making me feel a bit dizzy and light headed - does that sound feasible?

Also my computer is acting up again (am trying hard not to take a hammer to it - I feel like John Cleese in Fawlty Towers when he gives his car a damn good thrashing Grin) It takes about ten minutes to crank up, then I can't scroll up and down properly on it - it jumps big chunks, - so I have been able to read all your posts properly.

Did see someone talking about cake though - not sure who has made it, but yes please

will try to be more coherent later. Love to all especially those having treatment today (is it OTM's chemo day? - good luck if it is OTM) xx

KurriKurri · 19/09/2012 15:17

haven't been able obv.

Gigondas · 19/09/2012 15:50

Pain can definitely make you feel off - my shoulder pain was bloody miserable and ended up with referred pain down my arm and tingling fingers so hope you get some relief kurri.

I think KFC for gracie as chicken is healthy and they do coleslaw so what could be the issue although isn't topsy barred from all cardio wards in your region as she taunted the waiting room with doughnuts when had her check up.

Had forgotten about amberhaving some real worries over her heart woman sure she can offer wisdom.

Will offer chocolate shortbread if you lot have finished my cake.

On a distracting note (ESP for gracie) I have a big small birthday (day after I finish chemoGrin) and my mum has asked me what I want. Can I ask for playmobil or am I too old? [[

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/_chat/1568039-dd2-wants-playmobil-for-her-10th-birthday-and-friend-has-suggested-that-is-weird-Is-it not sure I helped the op here]]

SparkleRainbow · 19/09/2012 16:26

As far as my dc are concerned you can never be too old for playmobile....but don't know if that rule actually applies to adults. How about some shoe shopping instead, really nice, totally treat yourself kind of gorgeous shoes.....then I can virtually shop with you!

KurriKurri · 19/09/2012 17:18

OOh yes definitely ask for playmobil Gig, you can never be too old.

My great desire is for a Dolls House - I never had one as a child and would love to play with one and make little bits of furniture. If I ever win the lottery I will buy myself one. (DH will not buy one for my birthday as it would be 'pointless clutter' Hmm - unlike his old football programmes and coin collection which are useful obviously)

Waving at Sparkle - how is DS atm? - Is he managing OK at school after the summer break?

smee · 19/09/2012 18:32
for Gig Grin

Any news from Gracie??

SparkleRainbow · 19/09/2012 19:01

No news yet, hope no news is good news..... [worried emoticon]

Ds is ok, struggling a bit with pain though. He has been working towards his PhD in particle physics today, by designing and researching his own powerpoint presentation about Venus.....nothing to do with me, or school, just cos he felt like it!

Proud mummy moment coming.....look away if nauseated!
dd2 has just read 15 cvc words to me....she is only 3, so am basking in the glory of my bright dc!

jchocchip · 19/09/2012 19:04

Hope gracie is ok.

Got to cook tea, dd2 is at Alton Towers today so just 3 of us...
