Thank god is Pneumonia, we had a horrid and scary day yesterday and now are back home thank goodness. Not to be recommended

Hi - yes, he came out today and is much better thanks. Definitely eating more. He's got 5 more days on the antibiotics but I'm pretty sure he'll be back in school on Monday. Keeping off swimming Saturday though - back next week.

His teacher just turned up on our doorstep with a lovely big card from his class - how sweet is that?!

Tbh, this whole experience has just made me really think how hard it must be to have a chronically ill child - in and out of hospital frequently - while this was scary it's really nothing compared to what some go through.
