Poor Draculette been in hospital with suspected meningitis....

Thank god is Pneumonia, we had a horrid and scary day yesterday and now are back home thank goodness. Not to be recommended

OMG, how terrifying. Not that pneumonia is a bundle of laughs either, but I'm so glad it wasn't meningitis. Wishing her a speedy recovery, and both of you a safe and gentle weekend..

glad she's ok - ds2 has just been in hospital with meningitis and I know how scary it is.

oh yes we have cancelled all plans this weekend obv. Not sure how long til she can be back at nursery, will have to play it by ear I think.

God! What a shock. I'm so glad she is doing so well and on the road to recovery.
(I remember with ds1 how pneumonia can become 'thank god, #just# pneumonia', words I never thought I would say before that!)

I'm very glad it wasn't actually meningitis too, CD - glad it was "only" pneumonia and that she is up to playing nurse already

Now that she has the right treatment, she shouldn't take too long to recover CD. The abs will probably take a few days to kick in, (and she must finish the course). She should be well recovered in about a week and pretty much back to normal in around 10 days.

Bloody hell. Frightening stuff.
My nephew nearly died of meningitis at three weeks.
So glad for you that it didn't turn out to be the dreaded disease.
(Howsweet,listening to the dog's tummy!)

She is sleeping peacefully and no temp tonight so that must be a good sign I hope.

Poor DD hope she stays well. My friends DS has been in hospital poorly since Friday. She sounds so worried, it is a really horrible time. Glad she is home and seems to be better. xxx

Ok, CD! Still pregnant, got 10 weeks to go. Hating the heat, hating being enormous, but hey ho. How are you despite you daughter's best efforts to frighten the life out of you?!?
