Eight, yay for good news re your echo but am sorry to hear your DS is finding things tough at school at the moment. I hope they treat him fairly and listen to what he has to say, if he feels like opening up to them.
Hi Amber. I'll join you in the rubber room I think. I've lost my marbles - forgotten loads of stuff today - and a spell in solitary confinement might make me focus.
Greylady, I'm sure it won't snow? Will it? No, I don't think so (but who can tell in this country). Just take snowsuits and boots along with shorts and sandalls then you'll be well prepared.
Ned, love the sound of your bag. I'm very staid when it comes to bags and shoes - they have to be matching colours. You'll never find me with brown shoes/black bag and vice versa. It's my mum's fault, she instilled in me that shoes and bags MUST be the same colour. So a gorgeous green bag would be out of the question unless I could find shoes in exactly the same shade of green.
Sparkle, good to hear about mum's flat. That is going to be some down-size!!!! How will she fare, clearing out her possessions and choosing a few much-loved items?
I took our dog for a walk earlier which left me a bit wibbly legged and out of breath so am debating whether or not to go into work tomorrow. There was an excellent article in the Mail today about how we (British public) have lost the art of convalescence and rush back to work too soon.
