Hopefully, we'll get back on track in the New Year but for now, most of us are trying not to put any more weight on.

I've managed to put over half a stone on in 5 weeks! Argh!

Saf :). Hello. How's it going?

Work was fine, I was extra so I just covered breaks all morning. It's been ages since I have been on a checkout.

I'm going to make mulled wine. That'll fix is cold. This cold that comes with a temperature and aches and pains that definitely is NOT the flu at all.

pretty slowly uno - feel a bit like i've been run over of late - just the winter back to back bugs effect.

off to madrid on thursday - looked at weather and should be around 8 or 9 degrees in the day. i know that's a lot warmer than it is here right now but i have no idea what it means. when was it that temperature here? is that like early autumn or what?

I've not had mulled wine for yonks.

I used to turn every game into a strip version given the chance... scrabble, monopoly, dice....

Sorry you're feeling like that saf. That temp is like it was here before this cold snap. So chilly but not necessarily gloves weather.

not quite mulling but i've just made steeped ginger in boiling water, added lemon and honey, more boiling water then an inch of red wine for a different flavour and more throat soothing effect.

Back from trudging in the snow with my crutches. The doc has just said to me re my meds 'I'm not really sure now due to XYZ. Can I phone a friend?'

Nemo has gone right off the boil. Why do they do that? Around dinner time, temp soars, puking increases and he is really jumpy.

I've stopped feeding him and had to give him a cool bath to get his temp down. Calpol and dioralyte for the rest of the night.

And for Nemo too!!
