Brickie - cough is as bad but his chest is clear at the moment. Nurse said he has a lot of phlem/secretions at the back of his soft palate (he has a weak swallowing reflex) so just to keep an eye on his breathing.

I woke up at 2am to him partly holding his breath in with each one he took.

I shit myself and woke him fully which seemed to sort it. Again, mentioned it and his nurse will pick that up with me next week.
