I have sauv blanc in the fridge chilling. I want mucho of it but will not as we have the hospital!

Best not turn up stinking!

Nemo has an upset tummy too. We all seem to be mirroring parts of each others lives of late! Grin

Help me choose - cheese and ham toasties or hoops on toast for my dinner. Not had it yet as ended up dealing with Nemo.....

Toasties. Then if you have to get up halfway through you can take them with.

anotherbrickinthewall · 25/11/2010 19:26

sounds like my DS, demanding sandwiches at inappropriate times Grin

double - fraid so, unless saf can prove inhaling ginger has any benefit?????

mousey - sod it, it's cold, you need proper stodgy toasties.

BrianAndHisBalls · 25/11/2010 19:28

I thought it was gonna be kind of mashed up with the honey, lemon and whisky water?

saf?bitter?

Mouseface · 25/11/2010 19:37

Dubs - I can't drink/eat ginger, I find it too strong. I do gently simmer it in about 100mls of water and then add to honey and lemon in a cup of tea for sore throats.

Too much of a wuss for the raw stuff.

Bitter - bed early, all snuggled sounds the way forward.

Off to make toasties.

You don't need to eat the ginger, just let it steep for a few minutes then fish it out.

SantaIsAnAnagramOfSatan · 25/11/2010 19:44

toasties sound good!

i am cooking ww lasagne and oven chips. totally unnecessarily big meal but my body seems to think food is the way forward.

just use the juice dubs, though i find the grated in and chomp the bits works best.

ds is in bed asleep after a couple of chapters of the wishing chair in my wonderful array of accents and voices.

i must avoid falling asleep with food cooking.

and yes! it is bloody freezing.

am having to get dp to translate the people on jk for me. Apparently the daughter is 'timerated' when her dp phones her up Confused we've settled on 'intimidated' but it could have meant anything Grin

BrianAndHisBalls · 25/11/2010 19:55

dubs - how vile is that blonde woman on 4 in a bed????? Shock

anotherbrickinthewall · 25/11/2010 20:00

the word gateau brings me out in hives (metaphorically), it suggests a massive but vile fake cream filled cakey.

sorry I have forced ginger down you!

SantaIsAnAnagramOfSatan · 25/11/2010 20:02

ginger does work - good on the chest too i find.
