13 seats for reform is so disappointing - as in I can't believe so many people voted for them!

I'm not unfortunately.

I've been hearing that turnout has been particularly high in all three Hull constituencies as well as Thanet. So I had a suspicion earlier this afternoon.

Hull had the lowest turnout anywhere in the country in 2019, so hearing it was up gave me an inckling.

When you say shocking for reform do you mean I can’t believe enough people voted for them to give them 13 seats or I can’t believe they only got 13 seats. I don’t know what they were predicting for them

Shocked in a “how on earth did that many people vote for them?!” way.

Most recent polls put them on anything up to 7, but most of them were predicting 3/4.

Yeah, if those are the final results then Reform have certainly outperformed expectations.

Funnily enough, as bad as the results look for the Tories (and they are very bad), it's probably towards the "good" end of the pre-election forecasts.
