That's right, isn't it?

A reform/tory coalition would be great

😱

It will be no different at all under Labour!!!

It wasn't like this under Labour - and I'm not letting the bastards who took ALL the ambulances away from my town and refused to pay the doctors properly stay in power.

😱

Would be great to have Rishi at the helm but going begging to Nige to make decisions.

Xtraincome · 29/06/2024 21:53

Labour will win, but probably by a small margin. The tories will always be tory, but the on-the-fence tories, will go reform.

Labour chose a really unappealing leader unfortunately. They are not as left as they make out and I am nervous about what lies beneath. I do think Corbyn put me off Labour- really made me uneasy. Knowing Starmer supported him isn't a good sign- but politics? So maybe Keir had no choice but to back him?

It won't be smooth sailing for the party, they will need to stay in for 8 years to make a dent. English voters are impatient, I worry the Conservative party will creep back in 2028!

BrendaSmall · 29/06/2024 21:53

Labour screwed over an awful lot of people in the 80’s & 90’s with the recession
A lot of people lost everything!
They haven’t forgotten about it, so they’ll all be voting for tories

My 18yo will be voting for first time. She was talking about voting reform. I don't know if she will but I do wonder if that is the party her age group is looking at.

Labour wasn’t in power then. It was Tory land from 1979 to 1997.

The UK has 5 year Parliaments, not 4...

Grantshappsotherusrnames · 29/06/2024 21:55

There is no way that the alleged man of the people Sir Keir the Beer who owns development land in Surrey, doesn't know what a woman is Starmer who is a But Jeremy Corbyn puppet who will raise taxes will be elected to be Prime Minister. Not a chance. Tax on education, people will never vote for that.

Devonbabs · 29/06/2024 21:56

I really hope Labour don’t win, they quite clearly have no intention of championing women’s sex based rights Starmer is an embarrassing wet weekend, not what the world needs atm.

In the 80s and 90s, there was a Conservative government. From 1979 until 1997, to be exact.

If you're going to spout anti-Labour bollocks, at least get your facts right!

That was the Conservatives.

@Tumbleweed101 my 19 year old undecided but has mentioned Reform and Nigel a few times. His social media has gathered a large following from their age group.

Jaydafran · 29/06/2024 21:57

Maybe they screwed them cos they were a shit opposition!

HauntedPollingBooth · 29/06/2024 21:57

It has to be said that the right wing desperation on this thread is highly entertaining.

It’s utterly batshit. 😂

I agree … but reform just don’t see that they are diluting the votes .. many just don’t get it

They see it, and thats what they want. They smell blood, and want the Tories wiped out. Tice and Farage aren't worried about this election, they're looking to a future where they can either replace the Tories or combine and eat them from the inside out.

I don't know one single person under 30 who says they are voting Reform. We must move in different social circles. Wink
