If you believe men and women can't change sex, who are you going to vote for?

Has Keir come to his senses or is he still insisting that some men have cervixes?

What's your view on who a GC woman should vote for?

Good question. Unfortunately where we live, the Labour candidate will get in without a doubt.

midgetastic · 22/05/2024 17:38

Since, whatever he publically or privately thinks a woman is, I suspect his actions will do more to help women than the alternatives , I guess it's labour

ukku · 22/05/2024 17:38

Starmer is a slinky snake and no, I don't trust him or believe him.

I'm afraid Conservatives are the only party that are making the right noises re women and children's rights. We have Kemi and Miriam - both brilliant.

devildeepbluesea · 22/05/2024 17:40

Labour. I abhor their stance on sex issues but the Tories have systematically destroyed the NHS, education, free trade and so much more. I can’t vote on just one issue. Plus a monkey in a blue rosette would get in where I live . In fact, one did last time.

Lottelenya · 22/05/2024 17:40

Miriam cates 😂 oh yes, if you don’t like women being educated and being chained to the kitchen sink !

Summerhillsquare · 22/05/2024 17:40

Labour of course. Tories started that particular shit show, as a little light diversion from all the other shit shows they started.

SabreIsMyFave · 22/05/2024 17:41

To not vote Labour just because of that one thing is just daft.

This is me !

KateMiskin · 22/05/2024 17:43

Labour. I think they will learn. Most people have now.

Lovelynames123 · 22/05/2024 17:43

Still Labour, the tories might be making the right noises now, but probably only because it might sway the gc vote, they aren't for women in the whole

PickAChew · 22/05/2024 17:44

I honestly don't have a clue. I can't vote tory, though - both adult DS have neuro disabilities and will never be able to live fully independently.

RemarkablyBrightCreature · 22/05/2024 17:44

Labour. Just because the tories supposedly “know what a woman is” doesn’t mean they give a flying fuck about them 🙄

This. If you think the tories care about women you are foolish

Underthinker · 22/05/2024 17:46

Usually a Labour voter.
I'll vote party of women if they have a candidate in my area, but I would guess they'll only stand in a few places to begin with.
Failing that, if Labour completely U turn on their "almost self ID" proposal then maybe Labour.
Otherwise spoiled ballot.

(I don't have the complete hatred of the conservative party that many here do, but I am politically left leaning so I don't see myself voting for them.)

Democracymanifest · 22/05/2024 17:48

I don't know. It is one of my big 3 issues.

Vintagevixen · 22/05/2024 17:49

Voted Labour all my life. Won't be voting for anyone this time.

Bigearringsbigsmile · 22/05/2024 17:49

100 times this!

The conservatives have ruined this country and have made so many women's lives more difficult.

Get labour in and then lobby for change.
Voting Conservative based on this one issue is like turkeys voting for Christmas.

This, 100%.

SaltyGod · 22/05/2024 17:51

I might go independent

What? The tories who couldn’t given a shit about education, funding women’s refuges etc? Those tories?

berksandbeyond · 22/05/2024 17:54

Labour. There’s no perfect situation here but I’d rather shit in my hands and clap than vote Tory in 6 weeks

35965a · 22/05/2024 17:55

Labour. Can’t stand another Tory clusterfuck

Camdenish · 22/05/2024 17:55

I always (mostly, usually) vote Labour and Keir is my MP. I’m hoping to hear from The Party of Women. I’m also hoping that a miracle happens before the 4th July.

Better to tell them now you won't vote for them unless they change policy, rather than vote them into power and then ask them to change it when they have a mandate to to deliver on it.

Your title needs fixing:
If you know men and women can't change sex, who are you going to vote for.
It's not a belief.
