Agreed. I highly recommend last weeks TRIP podcast with David Gauke, they talked openly about Tories being good at winning elections and Labour being bad at it.

Well let's hope the Tories stay in and cause the deaths of a few more disabled and elderly people, properly decimate all public services and cause more homelessness eh?! Phew

The 4th July? Oh bugger. A group I'm a member of has organised an event on that day, booked the hall and everything. The hall would be used as a polling station.

A new meaning for Independence Day 🙂

I guess they know that utility bills, etc. are going to rise a bit in the winter so the summer is going to be the cheapest time for people all year. It's not going to make any difference. Everyone I know is struggling with the price of mortgages, rents, food, petrol and bills. Although I grew up poor I've never known such a time as this for the average person feeling that a decent standard of living is beyond them. People feel miserable.

Is that what happened? Or did someone just post a thought on what the state of women's rights might be under a Labour government? 🙄

That also doesn't mean anyone thinks the Tories are good for women when thinking they'd be equally shite under Labour. People cannot think critically on this board at all. Or care about more than one issue at the same time it seems.

Only more people sharing the resources, less and poorer funded services, more cuts and higher tax and any male that wants to access women, kids, elderly and the vulnerable will be allowed to by law.

For a moment I thought 4th July would be during school holidays, so lots of people on holiday, but don't schools break up around 19th? 🤔

What are the 'five priorities'?

Increase homelessness.
Ensure more sick people die.
Make more people hungry.
Ensure the lower echelons can't access education.
Stop the police investigating actual crime.
