Just a little fourward planning . We are all looking forward to another thread of fabulous pictures. It can be a quiet time but I am sure some of us will have autumnal colours to share . The trees are starting to turn here . I have just picked an allium from my photo collection to start the thread off .
You are very welcome to finish or visit the old thread . I do not know how to do ... this is the old thread here thing .

@applecatchers36
Thank you for your concern...fortunately, there are no fires near at the moment but there are 47 fires burning all around the west.Shock whilst the East Coast is flooding.

I have tried to post a picture 6 times. 😭

Oh my @Furries, what a nightmare. Live the sweet pea photos - I've tried and failed with them so occasionally just treat myself to a bouquet.

These are my photos for today. The banana is slowly unfurling - its in a very handy spot so its leaves give me a bit of privacy when I'm in my favourite spot (photo 2). Photo 3 is just the most gorgeous combination of astrantia, euphorbia and ferns. Very lush at the moment but liable to flop as soon as it gets too dry.

Cani join in?

This is my first year of really trying to go beyond bedding and vegetables

@Furries I hope it drains away quickly, if you dead head the roses hopefully you’ll get a second flowering. I think, but would want second opinion, it might be worth a mid season feed and mulch as you may have lost nutrients in the soil.

Anyway here’s some from my garden this year:
Pic 1 Roald Dahl pic 2, Boscobel pic 3 the really awkward spot down the side that the only thing that grows is brambles so we’re trying to create a natural wildlife area with log piles and letting the grass grow.

Stunning rose! One of my favourites Smile

Very outing for me, but I'm so proud of my garden.
I had borders put in at the beginning of the year and I'm so happy with how all my plants are coming on.

The wildflowers were grown from seed. I love seeing the bees buzzing all over them.

Beautiful @StrawberryFizz26 how are your fuchsia so lovely, mine really don’t want to wake up this year.

AnneKipanki · 29/06/2021 16:50

I love your pink border wood . Did you paint that yourself, @StrawberryFizz26?

Erigeron. I love the colour of these flowers!
I LOVE Erigeron too @FeltTipPenny. Don't have anywhere sunny enough for it (though I have a little patch of the titchy Mexican fleabane). It's just a perfect flower isn't - so simple, so pink!
StrawberryFizz26 · 29/06/2021 20:13

Thank you billybagpuss the fuchsia was quite well established when I bought it.

annekipanki love love love your name.
Yes, I used Cuprinol sweet sundae. It really brightens it up doesn't it.

AnneKipanki · 29/06/2021 20:31
