I only started gardening last year, so everything is still a bit hit and miss. Some lovely pansies and my clematis I though I’d killed, and my front garden which is still settling in

Lovely plants! We've started on the front garden this year but I haven't got many plants yet. Here's some from my back garden

Geum scarlet tempest with Veronica mountain breeze, hosta and hardy fuchsia.

Sedum? I think. It's not growing much but crossing my fingers I haven't killed it. I moved it from a pot to a boarder a couple of weeks ago.

@WitchWindows It's about 10-12ft I didn't know it was a fuchsia when we first moved in as I've never seen one as big before or since, the bark is lovely. I will have to sacrifice some branches soon as they're getting a bit too heavy for it, I don't mind but Lord DP can't be expected to duck.

One of my beautiful alliums being discovered by a bee. First year I've had alliums and they're my new favourite!

I love the Jasmime and Roses, though I jsut admire Roses from afar and dont grow any

I had to cut my Jasime back hard last year as the trellis it was on was collapsing and needed a new one. I hope it forgives me

AnneKipanki · 18/05/2020 12:20

Great photo @grumpypug

Gorgeous pictures, very inspirational.
My garden is a bit wild, I’m terrible at cutting things back. I’ve got lots of hollyhocks in the gravel.

I love these geraniums

Too many gorgeous pictures to respond to! I’m having major Clematis envy @Beebumble2. Shame you can’t remember what the Clematis are called. That white one in particular is just stunning

Here’s a photo of one of my camellias, that’s still going strong. The colour goes beautifully with the peach coloured rose that’s right next to it, if I do say so myself.

I’d love to pretend I planned it like that, but the reality is that I never expected to see these two flower at the same time 😯

I love your arch @PonderLand

I planted out some fuchsia cuttings over the weekend, “stolen” from my neighbours enormous fuchsia hedge that keeps creeping into my garden.

I wonder how long it will take before those tiny sticks become as big as yours 😂

I was greeted by another poppy this morn. Thought I'd also picture my Montana (we call him Wilsonii, as that's his type) before it stops flowering .

Oh and gave just planted up a hanging basket

Lovely poppy. I was going to replace my lost one just before lockdown. It will now have to wait till next spring.

Oldraver · 19/05/2020 09:52

These are wild poppies that arrived with a load of topsoil and I have been encouraging them for about four years. We never know what colour will come up and the variations are amazing, kits of dark mauves and purpled last year

We thought my DS has lost his poppy in the heat last year so planted die more, still waiting for the younger ones to flower but the old one revived

Pic 1 is my Olivia Rose Austin rose and it is to die for! Smells incredible.

Pic 2 is an Eglantyne rose.

Pic 3 is mainly of my herb/ lavender pots with bamboos behind it and the rest of garden beyond.

Is that a black bamboo ? I manged to kill one years ago but the recent one seems healthy

AlwaysOnAbloodyDiet · 19/05/2020 11:33

Mine pale in comparison to oldraver's, they are to die for. Shock
We clearly didn't prepare the wildflower area correctly, it appears to be overgrown with grass and weeds Hmm but I'm happy to let it be and see what comes through Smile

@Crazzzycat The rose and camellia... you're so right about what you said about the colours and the timings Grin
They are stunning

Lovely pictures.

@Oldraver do you mean in my pic? Yes it is but it’s a bit threadbare these days! Might have to replace it.

L777 · 19/05/2020 12:16

@AnneKipanki I love your holder thingy! Where did you get it from?

AnneKipanki · 19/05/2020 12:44

Hi@L777
Unfortunately it is not mine . I pass it on my walk . The lovely lady who owns it did tell me but I have forgotten. I will ask if I see her . I have a winter photo of it too !
I like taking photos of quirky things I see in other people's gardens too !
