marmite what a nightmare
I've also got my in box open if you want to share any of the worries about dc starting uni doing music (although I know your dd will be brilliant) it is a bit surreal when you are in the eye of the storm, you spend so much time having to cheer other people up who are upset on your behalf, when really you need just to be allowed to be fed up.
third I was about to come on here and boast about my dc's gsces, but I see that we are unusually protected species of parents with two lots of talented children
Ds2 was predicted 5s in English, hoping desperately to get a 6 and get into sixth form, although his history was high prediction. Low prediction for Maths. Mediocre prediction of everything really. Cannot write, cannot spell. (sometimes I think he cannot think either) Ended up with a bloody 9 for history and 8 for English and 7 for English language and science, beating his brainy twin by a league. She ended up with a 4 for Eng Lit, and a 6 for eng language, 6 for a humanity subject, although she had other 7s...
Still they both did really well, I am very happy for them. I'll never be able to nag non-executive function son two again, about anything
Ds1 seems to be surviving by the lake shore. He says he watching episodes of Lost to reassure himself. Rather alarmed by siblings' results, lucky he is not here really. He seems to spend a lot of time walking away from the scenery, and has managed to find a hairdresser in the wilderness; he told me he was thinking of a buzzcut to stop the flies annoying him.
