How to Make the Very Most of Your Body and all of its Fluids

Hello.
I am currently writing a book which I thought may interest some of you.
I am a very natural lady and a believer that nothing should go to waste. There is a use for everything our body produces. I wondered if any of you mothers have any contributions you could make or any comments on whether you would be interested in buying such a book.

Examples include the health benefits of drinking your own urine (of which there are many).

Freezing your menstrual blood to use as stock or a natural thickener to gravy. It is full of protein and has a rich, meaty flavour.

Recycling your faeces to use as compost for your organic vegetable garden.

There really is nothing your body produces that you cannot use in some way and this is the aim of my book. I would appreciate your comments.

Are you going slightly crazy?

PMSLBrokeMN · 07/04/2009 14:19

So if I use breastmilk and snot I can make delish puddings for the family? Can I freeze them?

iSOLOvechocolate · 07/04/2009 14:20

Euw! no, no, NO!

sagacious · 07/04/2009 14:20

I'd buy the book
Great gift idea for the MIL

EarthWindandFire · 07/04/2009 14:21

It is mainly mucus and white blood cells. The mucus acts as a thickening agent.

All these things aren't something your body produces like bees produce honey, they're waste products your body has no use for, othewise why would you be expelling them? Frankly if my body has the good sense to expell them, I'm not going to put them back in.

EarthWindandFire · 07/04/2009 14:21

Yes you can freeze any deposits, as I call them.

BUT I CAN SEE IT, IT'S UP THERE, UP THERE I TELL YOU!!!!!

it says 'click here to upload a picture for your ad'

EarthWindandFire · 07/04/2009 14:23

But HeadFairy, what you consume on a day to day basis is full of waste products too. Connective tissue for example, or preservatives. These are alternatives and unlike the chemicals, you know where these ingredients came from.

Oooo I've got the weirdy clip to upload thing

Apologies Joosey

Earthwind... do you have an agent/book deal/stonking great advance?

You should really be paying MN if you're doing research

HeadFairy · 07/04/2009 14:23

jooseyfruit, either I'm going mad too or I had the same thing as you. It's gone now though.

I have agreed that the people of Mumsnet can have 10 copies of my book when it comes out to giveaway as prizes.

They've agreed to this in an email. One of them, I think it was Justine, said she'd love to buy the book herself.

jooseyfruit · 07/04/2009 14:25

it's still there.
make it stop.

Kathyis6incheshigh · 07/04/2009 14:25

Are you going to include placenta recipes?

sagacious · 07/04/2009 14:27

Joosey have you been drinking your own urine?

You may well be delusional

(mine have stoppped for now)

EarthWindandFire · 07/04/2009 14:27

Of course Kathy, the placenta is jammed full of protein and vitamins and research has shown that it can aid a speedy recovery after childbirth. In fact, if your partner also partakes in some, it acts as an aphrodisiac too.

But I've developed a stutter

jooseyfruit · 07/04/2009 14:27

what do you suggest for pubic trimmings?

or used spunky tissues.

or shitty baby nappies.

Habbibu · 07/04/2009 14:28

I trust that you're using your gaseous excreta to fuel your central heating system?
