sorry tigi

seriously though, what time is good for everyone?

MrsFish · 07/07/2007 21:55

Before 2pm would suit me as MiL comes over then, whereupon I have to turn off TV/radio/computer

SlightlyMadSalmon · 07/07/2007 21:58

Yeah but after 3:30pm would suit me as I shall be out all day on said school trip

MrsFish · 07/07/2007 22:01

How about we just leave it till monday night?

Tigi · 07/07/2007 22:38

what about 8pm ish on Monday night when children put to bed! Else will be same dilema on Tuesday again!

Tigi · 07/07/2007 22:39

Slubberdegullion · 08/07/2007 10:13

Good to see entries 9 and 10 have got with the M&S descriptions spirit. Makes looking at the picures an all round salivating and lol experience.

We should have had this for next week as I have to make a cheesecake for a party we are going to on saturday

Now will I have chance to do nxt weeks topic aswell?

Slubberdegullion · 08/07/2007 20:24

MrsFish, well if we go for bread then you can take some of that aswell as cheesecake and seriously impress the other dinner party people.

Just as an aside........but MN Village show related. Did any one watch the Great Village British show tonight? Because we are really not doing a well rounded show here with just the baking. We need to get the MN knitters and gardeners involved here too. I really don't do either, but I'd love to see the efforts of other crafty/greenfingered Mners out there.

What do we think....should we switch on the MNWI bat sign tomorrow?

MrsFish · 08/07/2007 20:26

I watched it, its amazing how picky they are isn't it. Hope you have perfected your VSC

Well, I don;t have a vegetable patch and am hopeless at sewing so I'll have to stick to cooking

Slubberdegullion · 08/07/2007 20:36

Yes, the VSC will have to get practicing again tomorrow. Had another chat with last years winner today after church. She is not entering this year (yay), as she is organising the show. She did tell me they like a 6/6/6 & 3 cake so I will have to go out and buy some serious new tins tomorrow as my current 8 inchers are Tesco's pants.

Wellmy fuschia looks as though it is coming up lovely for a gardening twist...

Slubberdegullion · 08/07/2007 20:51

There you go SMS...enter your fuschia.

Are you 'known' on the gardening threads? Do you want to go over there and ask them?

I've just done a sales job on an arts & crafts thread but I'm concerned I was overenthusiastic and came across as a twat.

I may in all reality be a twat, but that is not the point.

OP posts:
SlightlyMadSalmon · 08/07/2007 20:53

God no....I posted on the gardening threads for the first time today and got no replys (well I have 2 replys I think - both from me!!!)

UCM is the one to promote on arts & crafts

Slubberdegullion · 08/07/2007 20:55

She's dropped off the village show radar these past few weeks. Will keep an eye out for her.

I couldn't take a suggestive picture of my restaurant pud last night, but it was delish - new york cheesecake

linking picture trail here because i'm fed up of scrolling down for it

Loving the dirt/worm pud

Slubberdegullion · 08/07/2007 21:11
