Mumsnet Village Show - An Afternoon Tea Tray for One

So here we are again.

So far the rules are:

Tea tray for one

Can include anything you want suitable for a summer high tea (sandwiches, scones, cake, biscuits etc) with suitable cutlery and crockery and the like. (Silver service if you are terribly posh)

Five quid budget (on top of what you already have in your larder).

SlightlyMadScientist is the judge (heaven help us...is she properly qualified???)

Oh and all entries will be anonymous this time (A, B, C etc).

Time limit is 9pm next sunday so we can be judged before bed time.

The rules will obviously be bent or completely ignored but so long as its tea ish then anything goes.

Franny - Class 3 was always going to be diplomatic. If there were 10 entrants there would be 10 'best XXX' awards

TigiCupCakes · 01/07/2007 21:20

Did you see that there looks like a couple of 'lost' entries on the victoria sponge pics?

Slubberdegullion · 01/07/2007 21:24

Well done Franny...knew it was you from the lettuce link...you didn't use ds's prize winning plant did you?

Right judges comments are up. YOu will find them below the first image in each album. Twas a pain in the arse though as there is a character limit on the coments so I have had to split some of my cards into 3 different comments...which have been displayed 'upside down'. But I guess you will all be used to reading threads from bottom up - so you'll cope.

Oh and hte scores are very random...don't read too much into them esp. in class 2 where I tried to go with teh fun.....

And I would like to know where the MN classic entry was? I have been waiting all week for a fruit shoot, sausage roll and pile grapes to appear. you lot have disappointed me....
