Mumsnet Village Show - An Afternoon Tea Tray for One

So here we are again.

So far the rules are:

Tea tray for one

Can include anything you want suitable for a summer high tea (sandwiches, scones, cake, biscuits etc) with suitable cutlery and crockery and the like. (Silver service if you are terribly posh)

Five quid budget (on top of what you already have in your larder).

SlightlyMadScientist is the judge (heaven help us...is she properly qualified???)

Oh and all entries will be anonymous this time (A, B, C etc).

Time limit is 9pm next sunday so we can be judged before bed time.

The rules will obviously be bent or completely ignored but so long as its tea ish then anything goes.

TigiCupCakes · 01/07/2007 21:06

That's true...

SconesandMajesticSandwiches · 01/07/2007 21:07

OK...Class 1 entrants first

Highly commended is entry E, only being let down by the shoddy table linen.

The winner is

Entry G

Please come forward and identify yourself...and take your virtual award

YAY!! IT'S ME, IT'S ME, jumps up and down all excited

TigiCupCakes · 01/07/2007 21:10

What a shame.

SconesandMajesticSandwiches · 01/07/2007 21:10

And in Class 2 - which was very difficult to judge due to the diversity of the entrants...

Highly commended Entry I, very imaginative...but perhaps a little too much sugar

and the winner is

Entry L, for a good hearty truckstop afternoon tea.

Peachy · 01/07/2007 21:10

Slubberdegullion · 01/07/2007 21:11
