Mumsnet Village Show - An Afternoon Tea Tray for One

So here we are again.

So far the rules are:

Tea tray for one

Can include anything you want suitable for a summer high tea (sandwiches, scones, cake, biscuits etc) with suitable cutlery and crockery and the like. (Silver service if you are terribly posh)

Five quid budget (on top of what you already have in your larder).

SlightlyMadScientist is the judge (heaven help us...is she properly qualified???)

Oh and all entries will be anonymous this time (A, B, C etc).

Time limit is 9pm next sunday so we can be judged before bed time.

The rules will obviously be bent or completely ignored but so long as its tea ish then anything goes.

slide show

this bloke cocked up

but the poeple here didn't relalise

so they celebrated with one of these

which turned into one of these

do Dh helped them build this which won a lot

and I was on this, which didnt

the end

Slubberdegullion · 01/07/2007 20:41

Come on come on SMS.....

Dh wants me to watch Rome with him at 9pm (his particular uber nerd specialist subject). But it is rather good.

If we have to wait until 9, and I win then my acceptance speech will be a tad short (will come back at 10pm).

If I don't win then jolly well done to the winners

Your's was definately the best. You deserved to win. And I'll be back at 10 to say it again.

Oh Peachy that was very good. Round of applause for that. You have raised the MN village show standards by another notch.

The winners won't be announced until after 9pm as a) that is the deadline for submission and b) I am only up to M (scarey crockery) on the judges cards....

(are there any ads Slubs?)

TigiCupCakes · 01/07/2007 20:44

Is this where we are all waiting for the Judge, mind if i join you? Just popped over from that larger tent over the way where Rod has just been crooning.

Slubberdegullion · 01/07/2007 20:44
