Mumsnet Village Show - An Afternoon Tea Tray for One

So here we are again.

So far the rules are:

Tea tray for one

Can include anything you want suitable for a summer high tea (sandwiches, scones, cake, biscuits etc) with suitable cutlery and crockery and the like. (Silver service if you are terribly posh)

Five quid budget (on top of what you already have in your larder).

SlightlyMadScientist is the judge (heaven help us...is she properly qualified???)

Oh and all entries will be anonymous this time (A, B, C etc).

Time limit is 9pm next sunday so we can be judged before bed time.

The rules will obviously be bent or completely ignored but so long as its tea ish then anything goes.

EntryO · 01/07/2007 19:19

Oh. Awright then. It's that orgasmic cucumber, we got it in Tescos.

Slubberdegullion · 01/07/2007 19:20

Well I'm terribly well connected too. I have contacts in the world of sheep veterinary medicine. And I got Baga 4 in gymnastics.

Slubberdegullion · 01/07/2007 19:21

Tesco's finest? I'm sure it was. No bog standard cuw for you MrsO.

EntryO · 01/07/2007 19:22

Whats a Baga 4? I don't know them. I've got the new Gucci, Kev bought it me after the Sun had that kiss and tell about him last week.

EntryQisNOTslubber · 01/07/2007 19:24

I would just like to make it perfectly clear that I am not Slubberdegullion.

I am someone else altogether. That was a real photo of my afternoon tea. The doll is my childhood comforter so leave it alone.

I have never met slubber, but she sounds like a jollly good sport so you lot just leave your pointing figers out of it.

Thankyou.

Slubberdegullion · 01/07/2007 19:25

Thankou entry Q for clarifying that.

O, I recall in Baga 4 I was able to perform a one handed arab spring and a handstand for 5 seconds. So I am lithe and strong in the inverted position. Just in case you thought we were going to have a little fight. But we're not now so .

I have no idea what a gimp doll is but I find it quite scary in a Barbarella-ish way.

And I am not entrant K.........I would never put my homemade gooseberry jam on a scone (it has to be homemade strawberry or raspberry). I didn't enter this week.

Slubberdegullion · 01/07/2007 19:58

Hear hear Peachy

MrsTweedy, is that last statement of yours a complicated double bluff?

Oh I am loving the intrigue this week.

SconesandMajesticSandwiches · 01/07/2007 20:10

Crikey this thread has gone mad....I just came on to do some calm writing og judging cards and there is madness....do I see allegations of cheating? Would someone care to enlighten me so I don't have to read whole thread?

Slubberdegullion · 01/07/2007 20:12

Yes I agree LL (but just in a general 'I'm speaking out loud to the ether, I'm not actually agreeing with you as that would involve a shun U-turn).

And of course we are relying on some good old fashioned honesty and decency at award owning up time. Maybe you should be googling those words now LL. I can help you with a link if want.

OP posts:
Peachy · 01/07/2007 20:12

No cheating! Just gentkle joshing

Slubberdegullion · 01/07/2007 20:13

NOT cheating SMS.
