NappiesGalore · 30/04/2007 22:03

corky

boco said it better - if youre happy about what you give yr kids to eat, why would some strangers opinion bother you?? and if you actually felt you were giving them crap and it was doing harm, well, you would get all defensive if you were pulled up on doing it anyway, wouldnt you?

so; anyone who gets het up about food police, must secretly think they are crap parents.

hehe

scatterbrain · 30/04/2007 22:04

Or they just think that the food police are a bit mean for posting so much criticism about what is essentially none of their business - maybe ?

Boco · 30/04/2007 22:08

Exactly NG!

And SB, why is it any of your business if someone posts about something that is none of their business. I would't attack you for it though, it's none of my business if you post about something that's none of your business about something that's none of the business of the food police.

So we're clear yes?

NKF · 30/04/2007 22:09

But "none of their business" basically sums up mumsnet doesn't it? It's essentially about having opinions and feelings about situations that are only really the concern of the original poster.

scatterbrain · 30/04/2007 22:09

I'm not quite exactly clear Boco - but don't worry coz I don';t think it;s any of my biusiness !

stoppinattwo · 30/04/2007 22:11

This is far better than tonights telly

NappiesGalore · 30/04/2007 22:11

lolol boco

mn would be scintillating place if we all kept our snouts out of other peoples business wouldnt it?

Skribble · 30/04/2007 22:11

The other day at work we sent out for Chinese at lunch time so my healthy pasta was sidelined for a lovely chicken fried rice, other day it was maccaroni and chips YUMMY!!!!

scatterbrain · 30/04/2007 22:12

Mumsnet summed up - The idea of Mumsnet is that by pooling knowledge and experience, parents make each other's lives easier. Please bear in mind that issues to do with raising children can be very sensitive and that everyone has the right to make their own choices when it comes to bringing up their kids.

Not exactly clear how slagging off another mum for the incomplete evidence of an empty lunch box really fulfils that tbh - but I don;t really care !

LilyLoo · 30/04/2007 22:12

Exactly Boco !

NKF · 30/04/2007 22:13

Well, it came with a warning.

scatterbrain · 30/04/2007 22:13

Exactly Lilyloo !
