is anyone geeky enough to have a spreadsheet or similar for meal planning?

i really want to start planning meals for the week so that we stop just going out for expensive food from M&S at the last minute.
i'm making a chicken casserole tonight (for tomorrow) and realised i didn't have any onions. Phoned DH who was out and about and he brought home three large-ish brown onions from Marks whihc cost £1.59. For, let me repeat, THREE onions. THREE

i have started doing this, and i find it much better to be organised, less food gets wasted and or just ending up in the fridge gone off because you have forgotten about it, it has saved me money at the supermarket because i now only buy what i def need

Wow YG - see what you've started!! You have a good market here for this, so hopefully the BHF will benefit from your brilliant spreadsheet.

I've no idea who has and who hasn't got a copy now, so if you haven't been sent one by marsy, myself or someone else, can you form an orderly queue and I'll send a few more.

(Don't all rush at once now!! )

I think a donation to BHF was a great idea btw mercy.
