Who knows + others, thanks for the tip. I'm rolling out on the bench with icing sugar. Goes to crap, sticks,cand I can't get it off the bench. Will try your ideas next time.

Lego ninja cake, when I showed this to ds4 he cried as it was blue...apparently he wanted a green ninja...little swine!

Tinkerbell cake for ds3 and dd's third bday cake, nice and easy!

I did an r2d2 cake for ds2 fairly simple as it was a dome shape and the o added the legs and covered in white roll out icinng and painted on Thee details with colored icing and some icing pens?.

My R2D2 was so bad - DS1 didn't even recognise it......

Also attached Little Einsteins rocket and Mario! The icing is homemade marshmallow fondant as you can't buy fondant icing easily here in Germany.

And my favourite, ds1's replica Nike Airforce Ones.

They are all fab cakes.

This is one I just finished tonight, its s dirt track cake with edible bike and the pic is actually him on his bike.

Thanks midori, it was made from a patch work cutter with petal paste then I painted it the same as in his photo.

I have made those, they frighten me for some reason. Love yours though.

Yes typical indeed, he actually howled and cried about it being the wrong colour and still brings it up now over a year later! He was lucky I didn't throw the cake in his face!

I made this gingerbread cake last night but I think it might be a bit dry, do you think I might have baked it for too long? The recipe says its supposed to be east

It's not east it's easy!

Today's cake pops, the bees need some practise they are a bitch to get looking neat.

A few more bees, def get easier with practise! And I did little 'stingers' as well. I am sadly pleased with myself at my first attempt at cake pops.

What a talented buch you all are - amazing!

I love baking and would love to try my hand at using fondant/ sugar paste for decoration, but just use buttercream at the moment. To be fair, dh hates the taste of fondant anyway, so it's hardly worth the effort...
