Oysters and mussels are delish.

valiumskeleton · 28/10/2010 22:00

polenta. I used to hear about it all the time. I never hear anything about it any more though. Wouldn't know where to find it in a supermarket either.

ZOMBIEEEESywriter · 28/10/2010 22:00

Never eaten eel. To be fair, it did make it into my mouth but was ejected a nano second later.

Don't bother trying it folks, it isn't food.

Figs.
When I was little, I was told that it was where wasps went to die; hence the texture.
I know it's not true but I still sort of believe it.

DioneTheDiabolist · 28/10/2010 22:01

Hmmm I love frog's legs.
I have never eaten an oyster.

pinkmagic1 · 28/10/2010 22:02

Snails

BelligerentGhoul · 28/10/2010 22:07

Steak;
Tomato ketchup;
Anything small and wriggly and fishy except a prawn (which made me feel sick);
Frogs;
Snails;
Puppy dog's tails; :)
Any exotic meats such as ostrich, zebra etc;
anything involving only lightly cooked eggs (shudder).

I ate Branston Pickle once, by accident - it was hidden inside a sandwich at a work event. I felt mildy unwell for the rest of the day tbh. It is one of the most unpleasant things I have ever inadvertently had in my mouth (have experienced better tasting flies, I think).

camerondiazepam · 28/10/2010 22:17

Dog.

TheNextMrsDracula · 28/10/2010 22:19

Can't think of anything; I'm a total dustbin.

Ummm....I suppose I've never tried deep-fried locusts.

MoonFaceMamaaaaargh · 28/10/2010 22:19

I don't eat meat so a lot of these are true for me.

Valium, Polenta lives near the pasta (or sometimes the earthy wholefood bit) t'is delish!

Branston! [hshocked] BG! I thought better of you! great in a toasty [hgrin]

BelligerentGhoul · 28/10/2010 22:22

I haven't eaten meat since I was 15, except once (again on a bloody work even where some idiot labelled meat quiche as veggie - grrrr), so that's why I haven't tasted a lot of the meaty/fishy stuff.

Ugh at the idea of Branston pickle in a toasty - I will have nightmares about that now!

MoonFaceMamaaaaargh · 28/10/2010 22:36

Yep, I was 7 when i stopped eating meat and we certainly didn't eat mussles, veal etc in early 80's yorkshire! [hgrin]
