Best song from a musical film ever

I am just watching Mary Poppins for the umpteenth time. Have always thought that Sister Suffragette is the cleverest and funniest and most brilliant song ever.

I love musicals.

I watched Mary Poppins today and it makes me v emotional. Saving Mr Banks made me see it v differently.

Another +1 for 'Sister Suffragette'. I watched that film with DC only a week ago and this struck me at the time: a real undersung gem.

big bottom from Spinal Tap; ha yes, INSPIRED lyrics and 'Stonehenge' is an absolute hoot as well.

And everything Doris Day has ever done. Agree with 'Black Hills of Dakota', and I love 'Windy City', but from Calam 'Secret Love' was her absolute standout. There has never been an actress like her (although I do love Julie Andrews too).

Also in 'Young at Heart' with Day and Frank Sinatra, his version of 'One for the Road' is simply beautiful.

Love loads of these but Never Enough from Greatest Showman gives me the chills every time, what an incredible voice and such vocal control.

Came along to name Sister Suffragette as my all time favourite.

The lyric "though we adore men individually, we agree, that as a group, they're rather stupid" still holds up 60 years after the movie was produced.

Saving Mr Banks is a brilliant film. So well done.

Seen it twice in the West End, once sung by Katherine McPhee, once by Sara Bareillles herself. Wonderful.

I have a soft spot for All That Jazz from Chicago.

Also second the suggestion of Rhythm of Life from Sweet Charity made earlier. The performance of that song in the film is so brilliantly surreal.

The whole soundtrack of Les Mis, but especially One Day More.
And I love all the music in Moana. My favourite musical ever though (stage and film) is Guys and Dolls, every song is brilliant
