I reckon Iron Man retires, Cap dies 😢, Hulk and Thor survive and that they return to the point where Starlord almost has it and get him to take the stone.

Gamorra must come back and I think Loki might.

I don't understand how Thor was made out to be this blob, out of shape character, but at the final battle scene he looked like he'd regained his six pack.
Did he join a speed Weight Watchers Club or just wear spanx?

No his suit accomodated his belly it just had the six pack markings on it but it was more of a keg

As I understand it with captain marvel the russo brothers wanted the film to be about the original avengers and saw no point in cm being there at all.

With regard to the "hate" about cm. The character is sold on mistruths.
she has never been a main Marvel character and has had many incarnations. (Mar vell, Monica Rambeau, Genis vell, Phyla Vell, Khn'nr, and Noh varr)
She isn't the first female superhero lead of a marvel film (elektra 2005).
Female leads have run entire series of films, (Ripley - aliens, Alice - res evil, Katniss - hunger games, Croft - tomb raider, selene - underworld etc.)

Her call sign isn't what inspired the name for the avengers.

And comic book nerds are really quite protective of "facts" as they see them.

Me too. Why make such a long film if you just need to pad it out all the time? Boring until the last probably hour or so. So many people in the showing I went to were getting up to go to the toilet, it was silly. I liked fatThor! Not sure how Nebula managed to kill her past self but still be alive in the future (Shame on you Amy Pond for ignoring the proper laws of Time Travel )

Just come back to this thread, I've seen it twice now and my one niggling question is about Gamorra. Did she evaporate with all the other bad guys when Iron Man clicked his fingers? When Thanos sacrificed her the terms were that she could never come back. I know it was her old self that came through with Thanos but did that version of her survive or not? When Quill is searching for her at the end, does it set up the possibility of her being out there somewhere? Sorry I'm rambling a bit, I'm just confused and I want Quill to have his happy ending because he's a bit on his own emotionally!

I think Disneys answer to that question may well be 'go to see GOTG 3'

Just got back from cinema. Huge build up and very disappointed

Saw it yesterday with DH & loved it!

Loved that Cap & Peggy got their happy ending.
Sad that Morgan is no without a father
Was surprised that not more died - also, they had a memorial for Tony but what about Nat?
Some great lines & nods to the fans.
Really hope Thor is in GOTG3!
